Say if you're on your way to a party and it's not Hallowe'en or anything obvious where people may dress up. Would you have the guts to walk the streets/use public transport etc. dressed in fancy dress? No mates either to make you look more sane nor hopping in cabs! :D

Yes, if I was going to a mates house and when I got there they are dressed up.

I have done this many moons ago - it was a "Punks, Tarts and Vicar's Party"
So I went as a tart - in the crappy pub if anyone had dared criticise my short skirt, fishnets or OTT makeup then they were getting a smack
Yeah why not. Peoples fear of absoloutely nothing always astounds me. Who cares what strangers on the street think? I'm John McClane and I'm drunk. Outta my way.
Yeah, I don't really care if people think i'm a nutjob

Yeah, probably I would. I've walked home from a few fancy dress parties if that counts. Of course I'd have been a bit worse for wear at the time.
Yes I would :)
You have to get yourself into the mindset that you don't know these people looking at you like you are a loon, so what does it matter? And if you bump into someone you know then you can easily explain it away :)

Eugh. I might be in this situation soon :(
In 2 weeks, its fancy dress at work, but gavin might have to help his dad setting up discos so Id just have to meet him at the pub. In fancy dress.

Edit. And I just KNOW that none of the customers will turn up in fancy dress too

I'm not sure, depends on what I was dressed up as.
This actually reminds me, this girl is having a fancy dress party and these other 2 girls that are going are going as ketchup and mustard - they are taking the bus there. I'd be mortified doing that pmsl. :laugh3:

I'd have no problem coming home. Odds are it'd be very late and I'd be too pissed to care

Yes, I have done this many times. If you look at my Fb photos (those of you that have me) you will see the many stupid things I sometimes wear.
I'm a huge fan of fancy dress and theme nights. :)
