How Many People Here Would Consider Themselves Obsessed With BB (and dying for BB12)

really excited for bb12 but scared aswell incase it stops me liking it as much

Would probably have classed myself as obsessed when Big Brother 9 was on (first non-celeb version I've watched properly), but lost interest in the normal series' after that. Stopped watching BB10 after a couple of weeks, stopped watching BB11 half way through, and stopped watching Ultimate BB once Coolio left. Will more than likely give it another go when it returns but I just generally can't really be bothered with it anymore.

Well I've been watching since July 2000 and here I am still reading every rumour and scrap of news that surfaces and analysing it profusely. So yeah (obsessed that is, I wasn't dying for a BB12 before it was confirmed, I'd gotten used to the fact it wasn't happening, wasn't particularly happy about it though).

youve probably been watching longer but im so obsessed its unreal. ive re watched the series' so many times. since ubb ended a day hasn't gone by where i haven't watched at least one big brother episode. i dont know why im so obsessed i just am. and im proud of it.

I've watched every series of BB since 2000, & every CBB thats been on, so you can safely say i am obsessed with BB.

When i read the heard the news of BB return on Tuesday, in cloud 9, i cant wait for its return.

I was more obsessed, (if thats the right word) with BB1-BB10.
The last series i just gave up on by week 6.
I didnt like one person in that house. Not one.
Looking forward to this C5 one though. I have a feeling my intrest will rise again.

i actually said atleast. i usually watch about 2-3 a night. i started on bb7, then 5,6,8 now on 9 then after 9 im thinking maybe 1,2,3,4 or 10,11. i think 1,2,3,4 is more likley because i mean 11 wasnt that long ago and i still remembet 10 quite well

And last year was the first time I became aware of the hype before a BB and I liked it.

I loved BB10, and that was why I found tibb, something annoyed me so I went looking for the c4 forums, they were gone so I discovered here :love:

yeah, that last few years definitely lacked imagination and effort. I think the biggest shame of the last few years was BB10, it's still one of my favourite series but that was 100% down to the HMs they carried it pretty much by themselves. If the producers had done a better job it could have been the best.

i agree with that, the bb10 hm's were awesome. but they didn't really have much to work with.

I only considered myself a casual fan until I realized this year how much I miss it. Can't wait for August (though when the regular series is on in September it'll seriously impede my ability to do schoolwork - that's why I've always loved BB being in the summer, haha).

i saw a bit of the end of bb9 and was a bit young to understand. bb10 was when i completely got into it. i liked it so much. i started watching old seasons like 8 months ago and was amazed with bb5-7 and still thought bb10 was good but yeah i felt bb7 was amazing and all the cast in that were so good. but i agree if bb10 had the tasks and enthusiasm like in bb5-7 it would have been way better.

cant wait to see what channel 5 do with it. i need to finish all the old bb quickly. ive got all the cbb's and bb1,2,3,4,10 (maybe 11 again + ultimate) left to finish before august.

deffo me, i cant count how many times ive cried for this programme, when i heard it got canceled and since its been announced its coming back, i love it.
we have watched it for 10 years, for 4 months of our lives a year basically (if you count cbb aswell) thats along time if you think about it. its like part of the family lol

Not obsessed but when the series is good, I'll make sure I watch every episode and catch some of the other Big Brother shows. Big Brother 11 was crud though, such a let down seeing as Big Brother 10 was one of the best, barring the final.
