dead peoples' facebooks are creepy - I remember coming across a website that updated with dead MySpace users' accounts...it was pretty morbid.

My mate(well someone I knew a bit, a FB friend) died in a car crash about 2 years ago. Her brother put on her status

*is dead*

And then about 2 months later

*is still dead*

I then deleted her, and her brother :bored:

Depending on the age, it might have been part of their coping mechanism

I don't have dead people on mah Facebook hehe.

I did join that group though that said "When I die, I give my friends permission to change my Facebook status to 'is chillin with Jesus'". :laugh2:

I'm actually serious about that though.

I can't wait until the day Social Interview asks me something hilarious about a Dead Friend.

Actually! It did once, well it wasn't a friend but it was tribute page so it's the same, kinda.

'Would you let James Bulger sleep in your bed?'

actually loads of people I went to school with are on it.

Yeah, alot of Adults around Niamh's Age use Facebook.

I had that happen as well, one of my facebook friends who I used to kind of be real friends with died in January and that came up quite recently, was quite depressing

The next time one of my Facebook friends dies, depending on who it is, I'm going to Poke them.

Imagine if I got a '_____ has Poked You Back!' notification a couple of months down the line, Jesus that'd be creepy.

Thankfully all my mates on FB are alive and kicking but I must admit I have just discovered the website findmeagrave.com hysterical and worth a look - I must have one of their bumper stickers................
