The Sun is not even worth the paltry 30p it has to be in order to be bought. It is an awful paper which actually thinks it runs the country or at least should pick who runs the country.
If BB is really successful it will mention it and you can bet your life if there is any major 'bad' contoversy,it will have it all over its front pages to discredit it.
I would have to add that it was rather lukewarm to BB11 though last year.

Because Ch5 ,
The Star and the Daily Express are all owned by Desmond.
Maybe The Mirror will do one , though.

It used to do a great section on BB with its own view of who was the top ones and bottom ones of the housemates,it didn't do that last year at all.
I find it a very patronising paper that likes to tell people what to do, as if it is always right,I still read it though, for a laugh because I disagree with so much that's in it.
At the time of the Shilpa-Jade thing it was the whole trumpet section of the orchestra screaming for Jade's downfall. Endless coverage on its main pages.
It is one very hypocritical and extremely biased paper.
I deliberately left the 'news' bit off from paper there.

I know but the sun and heat weren't owned by channal 4, its just weird why its only desmonds newspapers that are giving a **** about it. If it was anything else like the x factor or pop idle it would be plastered all over the papers that include tv and showbiz. Infact I haven't even seen it listed in any recent heat

Since CBB is on first, it may be, depending on what celebrities go in, that then the Sun will take an interest especially when the viewing ratings rise for Channel 5.
If there is a celebrity the Sun wants to get its teeth into it will not be able to resist the temptation to plaster them all over its pages.

The Mail has Given it alot of media coverage and the mail isnt owned by desmond. Heat Magazine Have aswell and there not either.
I think the sun is a very controlling newspaper , it can change the opinions of the public in seconds. This was proved by last years general election

The Sun is the UK's most read and most popular tabloid by a country mile, if it continues not to cover the show's return come August, it could have a knock on effect on the ratings.

And?
It's on the same shelfs as the Daily Star every day, it doesn't matter what paper it's on, just as long as Big Brother is in the headlines of at least one.

Just saying, far less paper readers will see coverage of the show if The Sun and sister paper NOTW ignore it, far less people take notice of The Star, than the Sun. It's helped win and loose elections (sadly).

The Sun has lost a lot of its automatic influence in recent years though,I know lots of people who still buy it but now only glance at it, its bought out of habit.
With the Internet now, that's where people get most information and 'reliable' news matter, not from the Sun anymore.
It was championing the Conservatives in the election, in a very sickening way but it had little effect on the polls through the whole campaign and they didn't get what they wanted which was a Conservative govt with an overall majority.
I think the Sun will cover BB in some way but even if it didn't I doubt it would affect the ratings.
