Davina was a puppet...... as well as unable to remain neutral. her interviews with her favourites were night and day in comparison to the housemates she didn't like.

I never actually got that impression off her. But that isn't what I'm on about. I'd like a presenter who's quick witted and isn't afraid to snap back.

It's precisely my point. Davina doesn't have natural quick wit or that cut and thrust that you want. She needs to follow scripts and together with that - has no ability to be caustic, sharp, on the ball and target hard biting interviews. Hence my deeming her a puppet.

as for your aussie bird: she is rude, doesn't allow the guy to finish what he is saying, continually interrupts every time he opens his mouth....that's not good interviewing technique - not at all. She's only interested in what SHE has to say: not what HE is trying to reply in answer to her questions.
