Where should the Diary room go?

I was just reading another thread when it reminded me of how much I hate the Diary Room being under the staircase.

So I wanna ask, do you think the Diary Room should have its own little corridor and exit within the house, or remain underneath the stairs?

At Elstree it's always kinda been near or under the stairs apart from BB6 and BB8. I'd either like it to move somewhere compeltely different OR keep it in the same place but have a different route to access it i.e. so it's still right under the stairs but there's 2 seperate doors/rooms for the DR and the stairs.

Problem with it is, there is only a limited amount of area for it to be moved to, under the stairs was utilised because it was to all intents and purposes dead space. Allowing people to move into and out of the house through the house in the event of someone wishing or being forced to leave etc.

Also depending on the house layout and task settings for the series it allows access to a small task room that can be utilised so housemates are unaware that other housemates are on a task.

The diary room is fine under the stairs, just hope they slip up in the design so that other housemates can earwig.

I like the idea of it being a glass room. You'd end up with all the housemates crowding round the door trying to lip read what the person inside is saying. :joker:

Just a random door in the middle of the house, such as BB5, BB6 or BB7. The lit-up corridor in BB8 was a bit gay.

Lol this was definatly one of favorite big brother moments when the BB7 housemates were listening to Nikki scream in the diary room

Just imagine how much the housemates would have found out in bb11 with John james crying in the diary room lol:joker:
