Last year my mate had these horror files that were of real nasty stuff like accidents. He had a very short(like 30 secs) file supposedly depicting a Russian beheading. I couldnt face the screen and had him describe what was happening instead! he's from Lithuania so could understand Russian. He said it was very real. Gulp!

Not really, it's not like you go out of your way to buy a film where someone is actually murdered, it's right there in front of you only a click away. It depends on the nature of the death as well I guess, if it was just a shot in the head or something quick like that I think I'd watch it but not a long torture death scene :/

Yeah but Zippy said you just happen to acquire it and it's on your hardrive so it's not the same intention really, and you're not putting money into the hands of people who made it. There's a lot of documentary footage of people getting killed, you can see JFK getting shot on youtube, I dont think it's that much different

I toyed with watching 3 guys 1 hammer for ages and ended up doing it with my mate when we were shamammered drunk one night. Feels incredibly silly now. It's kind of insulting and trivializing the poor guys memory to watch him get ****ed up like that.

I'm a tough cookie and I was drunk so I didn't make much of it but something that visceral could definately leave a lasting psychological impact on the squeamish. The idea that people look it up for the sheer heck of it is puzzling.

Mind you I always thought that. I have no interest in messed up things like that for pure shock value. People would be gathering in circles at schools to watch some pictures of a guys dismembered head or some snowboarding accident and I'm just thinking ... can't I just play poker or look up some of my german porn?

I have the film Cannibal holocaust that was long regarded to depict actual real scenes of cannibalism because its so realistic and horrific. The film was banned.

It wasn't until much later that the director explained how the scenes were filmed that the rumours were squashed. Actually, I think he had to explain it to the police after many viewers reported it and expressed their concern.

A snuff movie is one where murder on camera is committed just to make profit by selling copies of the recording its never happened yet.

Doing this thread led me to another place that has the sickest material that you can imagine. I mean, I knew there were real life horror videos on the net but not that many! Stuff that goes beyond any sickening fantasy you could ever have.

I found the 3 men and a hammer video which was 8 mins long. I didn't get past 3 seconds! After reading the translated script first I knew what was coming and decided I didnt want to actually see it. Apparently they also killed a pregnant woman and cut her foetus out! They must be the sickest and most twisted murderers ever. True evil.

There were a couple of Latin America prison ones I managed to watch that were repulsive; decapitated bodies after a prison riot...and a Mexican one that I can't even describe as its too explicit!

Im not visiting there again as it was too depressing. Not just the video/image content but also the posters there seemed disgustingly flippant and de-sensitised to it that I seriously worry about their mental state. Morbid vultures. To get enjoyment from watching people tortured, mutilated and murdered puts you in the same mindset as the twisted perverts committing the act. Any normal person would be repulsed and saddened. Not giddy and excited like most of the regulars seemed. Thats real people in extreme suffering that theyre jizzing over.

Speaking of wishing you'd never watched something;

I recently saw a video of a father trying to revive his 4yr old son in a garden after a fatal fall from a hotel balcony. The little boy is clearly dead and beyond saving but the father is distraught and won't stop pumping his chest and giving mouth to mouth. That was sad enough to watch but...

then there's a follow up video of the father laying dead on a bed surronded by pills. Its the actual police video. They hold up his suicide notes to the camera and he writes that he can't live without his son Mikey.

It's by far the saddest thing Ive ever seen!
