Can BB12 be a success?

I think Big Brother 12 has the potential to be a massive success with the public if advertised correctly

If bb12 is as good as bb11, hopefully better, then i think that they have a good chance of being a great sucess

I think it should have billboards everywhere, not just london. And I am Happy, because 5 put billboards up in southport ALOT so, we might get us some billboards! :)

Looking at ratings for Channel 5 at present and thinking what they may be once BB is on that will be the measure of its success and I think it will be a big success for Channel 5 and its biggest project on the Channel.

Compared to heady days on Channel 4, it may seem not as such a success but I have a feeling near all who watched in on 4 will follow it to 5.

Trying not to be negative but no I don't think so in terms of it becoming a huge show like it once was. For people who hate the show its just another year of BB just on another channel. They may watch the launch out of curiosity but that will probably be it. It's the show they don't like not the channel.

However I think it'll maintain about the same popularity as last year so atleast its not flopping in comparison.

I hope it is good, but then you have to take into account its on Channel 5.

Which to my knowledge has not made or shown a single good or memorable programme in 14 years........that's my worry.

I think the ratings will stay the same on c5 like it has been these last few years on c4 which is good for c5 anyway.

BB11 was tragic

you need to set your sights much higher if you want it to be a big succes. Its one thing being a success by ch5 standards but on a bigger scale it will never recapture the early glory days.

Ch5 is still the backwater of mainstream TV.

They need to definitely change a few things and bring some new energy to it.

Ch4 just got so paranoid and overly careful towards the end. Any argument was quickly snuffed out and conflicts were discouraged. Boring!

nobody wants to watch happy campers stuck in a house. Or bored, miserable ones either. This is what we had in BB11.

I think it will be a little more popular because a lot of people watched last year. Plus with it now being on C5 it will be heavily advertised.
