A romantic day out in the sunshine exploded into a thunderous row for Big Brother’s Chantelle Houghton and Crimewatch host Rav Wilding.

There was no sign of the storm ahead as they sat in a park cuddling and kissing after popping open a bottle of champagne. But out of the blue Rav, 33, reacted angrily to something his girlfriend said. One passer-by in the public park told how Chantelle, 27, looked terrified and was *reduced to tears after powerfully built Rav grabbed her arm and shouted aggressively.

The onlooker said: “One minute they were both happy sitting on the grass and suddenly things switched. Rav was flipping out. The two were having an almighty row. She looked absolutely shocked as he pointed his finger at her and even grabbed her arm. He looked furious. He was shouting at her and jabbing his finger. It was very *uncomfortable for *everyone to watch. Chantelle *began to cry. At one point she was *sobbing but he still *continued to shout in a very disturbing manner.”

Chantelle was left humiliated and in floods of tears after Rav laid into her during what was supposed to be a romantic picnic in London's Richmond Park.

And yesterday, it looked like Chantelle had fled the country as she was spotted at Heathrow looking glum towing her suitcase behind her.

Last night a source close to Chantelle revealed she was devastated to discover about the Tweets.

TV presenter Rav Wilding is fuming over reports suggesting steroids made him aggressive towards ex-girlfriend Chantelle Houghton.

The News of the World quotes a friend of the blonde Celebrity Big Brother star who said Chantelle blamed Rav's use of the drugs for his rumoured filthy temper and had pleaded with him to stop taking them.

Though the paper also reported that Wilding was legally prescribed steroids as part of his asthma treatment, the Crimewatch presenter has been angered by any suggestion that they sent him into a rage.
