If you want a decent site you have to pay for your domain + purchase a pretty decent hosting plan, then you have the never ending job of installing and coding what you need for the site.

.tk is terrible, they have a minimum hits policy and if you dont get the minimum amount of visitors they suspend the domain, why use that when you can purchase a .com or .net domain and know that you have full control over it for about £5 a year :)
