View Full Version : Different Application Process

I honestly feel by changing the audition process it could change the whole atmosphere of the show.
Instead of people going to big brother - they should go to the people.
A variety of people could be sent out by endemol to city centres like Leeds, Manchester, Liverpool - and approach random looking people and ask if they would be interested in applying for a show that will be on c5 and they could win £500,000 - this will eliminate the fame seekers but still have an application process to find interesting people ...I know once people find out it's bb they might think of the fame but in the end this will make more individual people come forward rather than people auditioning as a step to fame...
Questions that could be asked? Once the persons agrees they would take part -
1) I'd you had to survive 3 months by yourself / what would be you luxury ?
2) if you didbt have everyday entertainment - how would you entertain
yourself ?
3) how are you with strangers?
4) what's the most proudest moment in your life?
5) are you happy in your current lifestyle?
6) what's your biggest fear ?
7) what would you do with £500,000?
8) can you live without your communication like your phone?
9) do you have a Facebook or twitter account - if yes they can take your nickname and check your profile and even check on the account and see what kind of person they are ?
10) if you had thirty pounds to spend and you had to buy food and provisions for a week how would you divide it by Alcohol/Food/Toiletries/Luxuries ?
I think this would really work and find out who the real person is not what the person wants the producers to believe :)

Yeah I agree with a different application process. I always thought it would be interesting for them to approach a forum like this one and get people that know each other online and put them in a house to face each other in real life.

I like that idea, but I think they should still hold the open auditions as well as doing that :)

It'd be interesting to see how they acted though and how alliances would probably change as they get to actually know each other.

Didn't Caoimhe last year say that she didn't audition for BB, she was stopped on her way from work in Dublin and asked to audition? Yes, I'm sure she did.

That basically happened last year, the majority of last year's housemates had agents and were brought to Endemol or Endemol went to them; Ben and Shabby a perfect example.
They could do what The Million Pound Drop did in Series 1 and check for it's applicants via Facebook.
But I'm against your idea and all that; Because I want to be on the show when I'm the legal age to audition.
And It's abit unfair on those big fans like myself who would be brilliant housemates, if we have to walk around a city center in Britain for ages wishing to be approached.

I don't think it needs to change tbh.
BB5, BB6 + BB7 are examples that the current audition system CAN work its the **** producer who ****s it up by deciding to pick the bores.

That would be good. They should do this as a mini series.
Not sure about EVERY housemates from a forum like this should be together for 13 weeks.
I do hope 1 or 2 members from here make it to the house this summer/autumn/winter though!

I think people working for BB should go round city/town centres or where ever to spread the word to people about auditioning and outlining that there is 500 GRAND to win at stake! I reckon more people than ever will audition because of the newly increased prize fund.
I don't agree fast tracking someone you found on a street to enter the house. Like boring Cameltoe from BB11.
Please. I hope they don't fast track any of their friends, families or anyone from agencies.
Please.. everyone should audition equally.
