so many things I love about my cat.

Her announcing 'hello, I'm back", after she's been out playing for ages

When I come home from work: her stretching up my legs - wanting picked up and cuddled - when I do, she pads me (almost enough to draw blood & purring loud enough to wake the dead!).

The way she nudges her way under the bedcovers on a cold night.

The way she rolls over onto her back on the floor, legs spread out: eyeballing and mieowing me to tickle her tummy.

If you have a pet, what do you love about it the most?

I love my cat

She actually sprints to the front door whenever she hears my dad's car park in the driveway.

If she's sleeping, I'll look down on top of her from the sort of distance you might read a book from and she puts her head up and sniffs my face pmsl, it's really cute.

My cat also does the rubbing herself against legs thing and likes to be picked up for like a minute and then wants let down.

She lies down on top of your feet so you'll move if she wants to be fed, it's hilarious.

She drinks water from glasses if you leave one unattended.

She jumps up onto the kitchen table when we're having tea and watches us eat

She likes to play in the sink if we let the tap run, most cats hate running water but she loves it.

She licks my hair which I think is only endearing if you yourself are a cat owner, otherwise I imagine that'll sound horrendous lmao.

Similar to the sink, she'll lurk outside the bathroom when someone's having a shower and will go into the shower after someone's been in it to play about in the puddles of water.

She sleeps on the end of my bed and seems to have a sense of when I'm feeling sad 'cause that's the only time she'll ever sleep on my bed and let me hug her for prolonged periods of time.

I love my cat sf much

I have four cats and they're all pretty different.

There's "my" cat, Sky, this massive grey thing who's easily the cuddliest. She also meows the most, I can have conversations with her if I use a high-pitched voice. She'll also stand on hind legs when she wants to be fed which is sf adorable, literally the same way a dog will beg.

Then I have Milly, the oldest (and only black) cat who's a bit of an angry mess. Literally if you touch any part of her that's not her head, she'll pounce at you, growl, bite and then run away hissing. However if she's in a good mood she'll nudge at your hand with her head and do all the general rubbing-against-your-legs thing. Oh and she'll also come into the bath with me :conf2: which is very strange lmao. Well not in the water, but she sits on the side of the tub and drinks from the water, it's a bit creepy.

Then there's Smudge, the only male, who is black & white (or cowprint, I say) - he drools a lot which is kinda gross, but he's also the friendliest. He licks me a lot which is quite cute - and goes to kiss my nose which satisfies all of my bestiality curiosities

And finally the kitten, Jazz, who's still at the playful age (I hate how the other 3 outgrew that :() where you can just dangle your ipod headphones, or a jacket tassle carelessly, and she'll go all pouncy. She's not at all cuddly.

Well, my dog Brandi is a Jack Russell and she is a bit annoying but she is so funny, if you pant like a dog she gets all excited and runs around trying to chase her tail, even though she doesn't have a tail, she still tries. Also if someone is about to knock on the front door she lets us know by running around really fast. o.o Also she is a bit like a cat, she walks on the window and goes to sleep up there, she also licks our rabbit, which is very cute and the rabbit just sits there.

My rabbit Chester, is probably the cutest of all of my pets, she likes to sit on the couch and just watch what everyone is doing and if she is sitting on someone's lap she nibbles the clothes, also she climbed into the dogs blanket one and went to sleep, it was so adorable. -dies- She tries to dig burrows in random places too, like on the floor, on the couch, anywhere really.

I have a big old fat dog called Rocky, she is like 14 years old or something like that, she's an old woman and she ets the cat lie on top of her and go to sleep. She doesn't like my other dog Brandi at all though, she is very ill at the moment and finds it hard to move, she has arthritis, but sometimes she gets bursts of energy and runs around the place and she is big and white and fluffy and she is like a huge cloud running around the place, also she drops hair EVERYWHERE, when she gets brushed, you could knit a jumper with the hair that comes off her. D:

My cat Kissy, is the newest one, she likes me a lot for some reason, she cries to go into my room so she can sleep on my bed, even if I am not in there, she likes to sit on my keyboard and also blocks my computer screen and she purrs really quietly if you scratch her head, she likes to bite toes for some reason so I don't let her in my room when I am sleeping. She goes to sleep on Rocky's back and she is very curious about the rabbit. The worst thing about her is that she goes out hunting and brings dead animals into our house, it is horrible. We have found little birds heads on the kitchen floor and dead mice, she actually carries them in the window. D:

What I mainly like about Nala, is that she is so spoiled that I think she has no idea she is in fact a rottweiler and not a cat. :D

Some lovely stories on here..... pets are great! I love the 'image' of the meerkat stance at dinner time !!

When my cat goes into her mad half hour session - it's hilarious - watching her speeding up and down the house and 100 mph - coming to a sudden stop - then whizzing away again like somthing possessed!

Adrian the hamster has little hands and runs in circles when we put him in his plastic ball. He's never bitten me.

Red and Chilli the fish stare at me blankly. (we had 4 of them named Red, Hot, Chilli and Pepper - and then when one of my cousin's died she gave us the other which was all orange so we called it Tango).

Used to look after a puppy that has one ear flop forward and the other to the side. She was a little bitch

I don't have any pets. :sad: But I'll tell you what my brothers cats are like cause I go round there a lot. :amazed;

They have 5 cats D:

First there's Molly and she's the only female. She's this tortoise shell thing and she's a bit weird, idek who she was until last December, and when I went to pet her she just hissed at me and ran away. She came back later on though and sat next to me. She let me pet her then.

Then there's Dave who's black and white. He's only got 3 legs. I swear to God its so funny to see him run (I shouldn't laugh at that really lol ). The reason he only has 3 legs was because this kid abused him when he was younger and one of his legs was damaged beyond repair. He's a feisty one though. He acts like a guard cat. :joker:

Then there's Fella. He's a tortoise shell thing that idk much about. I've only seen him once or twice. :conf2:

Finally theres the kittens who are my favourites. There's Geezer who's a tortoise shell again. I don't like him that much. He's a bit ugly and fussy so he isn't all that nice. The other kitten - Buddy - is adorable though. He's a little Tabby who just likes to be petted. He does the funniest thing - if you lay him on his back and tickle him under his front 2 legs, he stretches all his legs out and starts to fall asleep. Its actually so so so cute.

I WANT A CAT. :bawling:

Well where do I start? I think I generally love dogs more than humans because dogs will never disappoint you ha.

Our Jack Russell Spot who's 6 is just so funny. He's sex mad and will hump anything he can find really although he can be a tad territorial and as most Jack Russells are he's VERY vocal in that if he wants something, he'll tell you and whine for HOURS.

As for our bulldog puppy Hollie she's just so sweet with everything and LOVES cats, we found her in the garden snuggled in a ball with next door's tabby! Also she has to be 'touching' you or she won't rest, she either has to have her hand, foot or head against you or she'll wriggle like crazy until she's satisfied!

My brother named him after TV's Adrian Monk. Don't ask why lol. Adrian's broken too many of his balls by crashing in to things. The amount of times we've paused and asked "Why's Adrian gone quiet?" only to realise he's running around the back of the sofa

Aw nooo I hate having to take the cat to the cattery, you always feel like you've betrayed them! Though I love getting back from holiday and how friendly the cat is when we take her home, it's like she's grateful to be back haha. Before she lost her eye she used to go out and kill something and bring it in whenever we came back from holidays, swear to god it was her way of showing her gratitude that we'd come back for her :D.

Pfft...... gratitude after the cattery.

This 'precious little madam' here..... I get the filthy look as I walk into her 'dorm' at the cattery. I then get the 'drawn looks' as I try to talk to her in the journey home. She clearly likes getting some mileage out of it.

But then, soon as she gets in the house: she's rolling all over the carpets - trying to make herself 15ft x 14ft to fit all over the floor in one go... splayed out on her back, paws outstretched and pulling herself all over the floor.......roaring away like a jet engine. :D

Then the head butts, face rubs, licks, ......man.... it's hard to beat.

Have come to the conclusion that cats are better than humans.

I have a fridge magnet that says, "The more I learn about men, the more I love my cat" How True !!! lol

Well..... maybe not!!.

when my cat was in quarantine it was so sad. we hadnt seen him for about 2 months then we went to visit him, and he wouldn't let me put him down when we had to leave. he also kept his head on my mothers hand when she was petting him. when we left he went to look out the window he had, and just sat there

I have one cat. I did have 6 fish in the pond, but all died during the hellish winter we had. :bawling:

She's currently snuggled up on the faux-fur blanket on the sofa, snoring her little head off. I'm soon going to stick the tv on, snuggle with her - she cuddles into the back of my knees/thighs - and 'demands' she gets head rubs before she settles back down to sleep.

Hearing her little snores has to be of the most heartwarming things ever.
