BB3: I've been expecting you
BB6: You didn't think Big Brother would ever be nice, did you?
BB7: Viewers, you have 30 seconfd to say goodbye to your summer, Big Brothers coming to get you
BB8: No opening line, OFCOM enforced apology for the racism controversy instead
BB9: You know what? Britain's not got talent.

I honestly don't understand why people care about the opening lines. It's not as if Davina was Oscar bloody Wilde.
Why?
Because in the first four seconds of the show they hit the nail on everything people started to hate about it. The here we go again, but now with EXTRA RIDDICULOUS TWISTZ theme that came to define the show.
Plus it was a complete cop out of a twist anyway.

LOL at BB8.
Most interesting thing that happened on that series.
The BB6 one made no sense at all, it was just like the trailer before it.
Marcus Bentley: 'What happens next? YOU DECIDE!'
They clearly had no idea what the theme was or what the hell was going on so they just said whatever bollocks came to mind.
'You didn't think Big Brother would ever be nice did you?'
'Um.. No, we didn't considering BB5 was Evil... :bored:'
BB6's opening line would of worked better with BB5 considering Big Brother was kind before then.

bb7 was the best for everything.
Think you'll find BB9 was the best for everything.
BB7 is over rated, the housemates were terrible bar Nikki and Shabaz.
Everything else like Tasks and Twists [the prison task was bonerific ] were spot on.
Just the housemates were unlikeable and annoying.
I liked the vibe BB7 had though.
But yeah BB9 owns any other series, BB5 is very close though.

i really dont think bb9 was that amazing tbh. like im not trying to slate it, just i found that bb7 was more people having fun and i found that in big brother 9 all the entertaining hms and my favourites were voted out early. where as bb7 my favourites were in the end. in bb7 i didnt hate anyone where as bb9 i hated most of them left near the end.
i guess im biased because bb7 was my first full season and at the time i emotionally attached my self to the hms and loved them.

I agree, I loved BB9 but the good ones were getting kicked out too early and it just truned into a frustrating series more than an enjoyable one. Although my favourite ever housemate Lisa was in this series and stayed near the end but she should have won!

The reason for BB6's opening line is I remember when the build up first started and producers would make comments towards the fact that they weren't continuing the evil theme. They'd done it to shake the show up and were moving on.
Then when they actually got to the point where they were advertising the series and releasing trailers and things they had obviously made the decision to stick with the evil but in a more fun way and spoke about "Unlucky 13" etc. Not as intense as BB5.
So, Davina's opening line made sense. You didn't actually think Big Brother was gonna be nice, did you? Reassuring fans he would infact be evil again.
I'll stop rambling now but I remember the back and forth in rumours for that series. Even there being two houses (one in the roof lol), owl house and something else.
And as for "You decide!" that's Big Brother's main tagline since it started so I don't understand the issue with that one.
