IAC which beats BB by 0.0001%

X Factor probably.
BGT has the buzzers, Ant & Dec and it's near the Summer, which is good, but X Factor I've just enjoyed more, probably because it lasts longer. Though it's getting incredibly worse each year, I feel obliged to watch it.

I should of begun watching The Only Way Is Essex when my cousin told me to like last year, too late now.

But yeah Big Brother, I wouldn't pick any other show over it.

X Factor makes me ill, it comes along every Winter and just ruins the year. :bored:

BGT is like a faily version of X Factor, it's easier to avoid though, like I didn't even know it was back on lol.

IAC is Amazing

The Real World is the sex and should be shown in the UK.

Ikr!
The way the whole country acts like it's something special when it's just complete bull.

Even when it's not on like during the week, people still go on about it.

Big Brother pisses all over any Reality TV Show.

Big Brother. I think of BGT and TXF as more talent shows than reality shows.

if the poll didn't show BB on top there would be something terribly wrong with the people on this forum. thankfully it will win by a mile.

Reality TV:
Big Brother, CBB, I'm a Celeb, The Real World, The Only Way is Essex

Talent shows:
XF, BGT, Got to Dance, Strictly, Dancing on Ice

Other shows that often get dragged into the same arena:
The Apprentice, Masterchef, Come Dine With Me

I think to classify as 'reality' television you have to depict the characters or contestants living out day-to-day normal routines, whether that be social interaction or whatever. You don't really get that with the X Factor, ignoring tabloid rumours of what goes on at the House.

So I guess my favourite reality TV show would be Big Brother. I also liked Playing it Straight

You're on a Big Brother forum though.
Of course we're going to back Big Brother.

But if this question was asked on the 2011 Census [LOL how epic would that be] then I can promise you The X Factor would win by a mile.

Which is a disgrace.

agreed. i find ex-factor has become increasingly annoying. 2011 was going to be a bad year for uk reality tv in my opinion until bb was announced.

who cares?

even in the intro it admits that some scenes are created for entertainment. You can't just randomly film people and hope for some entertaining bits to happen. And for a storyline to emerge. These shows need a structure so need to be somewhat manipulated.

You can start watching it anytime, it's fine. It's not one of those shows where you had to have watched it from the start. At the beginnning of this current series my Nan started watching (seriously) because I told her to, and she loves it! It only takes like 2 episodes to get into the storyline :spin:

BB by several dozen country miles, it's the only reality show that I regularly watch for myself rather than because the girlfriend / family / a friend puts it on and the only one I make sure I see. The rest I can either take or leave or would rather stick pins in my penis than watch (TRW)
