No, not a dirty thread (knows what you lot are like).
Does anyone else sometimes make sticky keys happen on their computer while trying to think about what to write or typing?
I don't often do it, but sometimes I tap down on the shift key while pondering and it brings up the sticky keys option. Rather annoying. :bored:

It basically made that weird noise everytime you click it after D:
I'm not sure what it's actually supposed to do though

StickyKeys is an accessibility feature to help computer users who have physical disabilities, but it is also used by others as a means to reduce RSI (or a syndrome called the Emacs Pinky). It essentially serializes keystrokes instead of pressing multiple keys at a time: StickyKeys allows the user to press a modifier key, such as Shift, Ctrl, Alt, or the Windows key, and have it remain active until any other key is pressed.
I looked it up.

You don't know what sticky keys is for? lol
To keep whatever you've clicked active so you can click two keys together or whatever function you need.
I have a mac and it doesn't seem to have the option.

Well it's not exactly a widely used thing for most people.

The fact the key "sticks" is a bit of a giveaway though.

Yeah that bit was kind of obvious, I just didn't know the reason for having it. I'd never really given it much thought until today.

they have similar things but have to be enabled through accessibility section thing.
Everyone in ICT clicks shift repeatedly while the teacher speaks. So disruptive.
