Why were the God I love (the 80. 90. 00's) threads unsticked, and yet threads that were there at the same time like easy listening is still there? I'm still confused can someone explain? In other forums when mods make a decision to change something where people actively post they at least put a note there to explain why.:conf:

Someone mentioned that maybe it's because only sooty and I posted there? Well that wasn't true over people posted there too.

because you were the only person that posted in them and it clogged up the top of the music forum

Ahem, I love sooty but sooty is the only one posting in the easy listening section...next explanation? And I wasn't the only one posting there.

Well it's pointless having threads stickied that arent that actives and are of no interest to the vast majority of members. A better question would be why should it be stickied?

I did it. I change them from time to time according to what is being used etc. The easy listening thread gets a lot of use and Shaun was running his song thread. The others will go back up after summer, too many stickied threads is annoying. :)

Ok thanks for the explanation then. I thought it was vendettaaaaaaaaaaa :bawling:

Agreed with ukturle. Too many sticky threads defeat the point of them being sticky. If not enough members were contributing it kind of proves it shouldn't be sticky.

Shaun's Cure thread should be sticky though. It's already sticky in my mind .

They are still in the music forum. Go to search and type in "God love the 90's" etc. :)

You could bookmark the threads or something?

Or make a blog post with links to the threads.

Oh that's not a bad idea. How about if I make a sticky thread with the links to certain music threads that get used a lot but not enough? Such as the 90s/80s thread, etc.

Would you lot find that helpful?
