"The advertising watchdog has banned a campaign by Ryanair
featuring a bikini-clad model and the promise of spring sun
after most of the destinations on offer had
maximum temperatures under a nippy 10C."

"Ryanair protested that despite the image used on the ad
it meant destinations that had significant amounts of
daytime sunshine during those months."

Well you're pretty stupid to look at that picture and suddenly think that Glasgow must be hot in February

I thought holiday things always use that type of advertising, strange it was banned.

It's to do with the fact it's false advertising. They're advertising a beach with the caption "Book to the sun now" when in reality it's a holiday to a cold place.
