I've evidently not kept up to date with this new series, partly because it was due to air last year and I simply assumed the worst (cancellation). I'll have to catch this on iPlayer. I bummed the first series like nothing else.

I only caught a couple of episodes but have since watched a lot on YouTube. Only bought a stand-up DVD of his a few weeks ago (the one called Stand-Up Comedian)

this entire Scottish/paedo/Braveheart bit was on his 'Stand-Up Comedian' DVD :bored: the same DVD where he made a comment about Eddie Izzard's "pretend spontaneity" :(

I'm totally using this as an opportunity to strike back.

The guy who is interviewing him sounds very familiar.

Armando Ianucci (or something like that) - he's often on Have I Got News For You, and I think was in The Thick of It

Shaun

oh, he created The Thick of It

That's where I've heard his voice, on Have I Got News, thanks

COMEDY VEHICLE BROADCAST DATES ANNOUNCED …

Stewart Lee returns to television with series four of Stewart Lee’s Comedy Vehicle.

The first episode will air at 10pm on Thursday 3rd March on BBC Two.

Filmed in front of a live audience at the Mildmay Club in Stoke Newington, this fourth series is full of brand-new stand-up material. Each episode covers a different topic, with themes this series including patriotism, wealth, islamophobia, the migrant crisis, death, and childhood memories.

Script Editor Chris Morris returns to series four as the ‘hostile interrogator'. Chris quizzes Stewart about his approach to stand-up comedy and his attitudes toward his audience and the comedy industry.
