Nah. They made a mess of it - let them clear up their own garbage - the land that brought us obesity, trailer trash, OTT cosmetic surgery, junk food and egotism, can keep it all.

No thanks we have enough problems of our own without incorporating more from Uncle Sam.

Most white Americans have some British ancestry - I am sure they would welcome British rule.

So amazing the Americas were: it took a European to find them. Says it all really. Says more that he returned to his native Europe, leaving the Americas after colonisation to get on with it !!

The whole 'those fat b's' situation arose due to the wonderous (!!) thing called junk food and fast food: KFC, McDonalds etc......... straight from over the Pond. There's always a reason.

It's pretty easy to understand.
It's pretty easy to understand.
So it's a petty attempt to promote a sense of European superiority over our American counterparts?

It would be hilarious to see America loose their independence, a massive kick to their ego.

So they like to believe.
The majority of America think they're Irish just because their ancestors were half Irish.
The funny thing is, they think they have some bond with Ireland - when barely anyone likes them.

Oh it's not a petty attempt. It is promoting European Superiority over America - they aren't my counterparts!

There's more to Britain than England! So you are quite correct: it WAS never 'totally England's'. ;)

There's not a New Scotland, New Wales, or New Northern Island, so ner :3
(edit: only kidding, I hate making that error, I blame the media for never mentioning "England" any more, it's always "Britian" now xD)

It always WAS Britain - just some English like to think otherwise!!
Oh... really. Here's just one of a great many that are linked to Scotland.
Of the names of the 454 communities and neighbourhoods in Greater Nashville that have been identified to date, 83 (18.3%) are based, in whole or in part, on place names that can be found in Scotland, on Scottish family names, or on Scottish words. Of course, many of the names are used in other parts of the British Isles as well but at least 27 (6.0%) of these appear to be exclusive to Scotland.
Seek and ye shall find.

Oh you wanted purely american places, ok then how about inverness, Elgin dundee, Glasgow, edinburgh Scott county, Caledonia, Scotland, Scotland County, Livingston, Midlothian.
There is a New Scotland in New York, there are Scotlands in South Dakota, Virginia, North Carolina, Missouri, Connecticut and Pennsylvania there is also a Scotia in New York to name but a few.
There are at least 10 Cardiffs..... want me to go on?
Just because you are unaware of their existance because they dont have the prominence of other place names does mean they dont exist.

I think you will find that England formed PART of the British Empire - as was. Recently known as Great Britain / UK. You're part of a United Kingdom - not sitting out there like something special. Part - not in entirety.
I know you were being tongue in cheek - but let's not kid here. ;)
