I thought the normal BB would run from September to December. 13 weeks. But looks like it's going to be shorter. Probably be better that.

I am glad the Celeb version is going to be only 3 weeks too.

The Celeb version ends at the end of August. The normal version starts in September. I hope there is at least a few days or a one week gap between the 2!

I am sure the exact dates will be announced soon! :)

Yeah maybe best off having a shorter run, to test it out a bit. less HMs would be better too, I found that there was so much chopping and changing and so many HMs coming and going in the latter series of BB, it kind of ruined it. I like to get to know them properly.

Wikipedia is user-edited and not a reliable source for information, the plan as it stood last month, from what I gather from press reports, was for CBB8 to start mid-August and run for 4 weeks then for BB12 to take over the same night ending mid-December. Whether that will change as time goes on, who knows, they've given themselves less time than they usually take to plan one series of CBB to plan two series of CBB and a series of the main show, so it's as likely as not.

Either that or the very next day, as with UBB (The Daily Star worded BB12 in their auditions article as airing "straight afterwards")

I think that's a bad move tbh. They need to let people discuss and write about CBB and then have a bit of a build for normal BB, I think anyway

Thing is any gap longer than a weekend would result in BB12 running dangerously close to christmas and the gap between CBB8 and CBB9 grow even shorter than it is now, tis better imo to treat CBB8 and BB12 as one series and CBB9 as another 6 or 7 weeks later than count all three as separate series with a two or three week gap between each one and viewers considering it overkill.
