London? People need to know the UK better, London is great but many other places I'd rather spend a day (maybe it's because I'm from London).
Mine would have to be Tresco in Isles of Scilly or The Lake District.

Probably
The Lake District is boring as sin, it's just an exhausting treck up and down hills

At the time of the Edinburgh festival is an incredible time to go. The city is busy but there is so much entertainment and the atmosphere is great.

No i think its spread over quite a long period in the summer. Lots of entertainment like comedy, plays, music ect.
I went last year it was very fun (I dont like spending much time with my family usually but I loved it). Its very much a family sort of environment there is lots of stuff for adults and kids. I can imagine the night life is pretty good as well.
Its called the Edinburgh Fringe Festival. E4 always have stuff going on there as well just so you know. Im sure there is lots of information available through them.

I would love to go to Norfolk. I heard it's a beautiful place. Would love to go on a boating holiday there.
My 2nd choice would be Edinburgh. I have never been to Scotland.

I spent 4 days in Norfolk last year whilst on holiday. We hired a boat for a day and travelled up the broads..it was absolutely beautiful. I'd like to hire one of those big boat things that sleep 12 people and go for a proper boat holiday.
And you should come to Scotland.. Edinburgh is one of my favourite places ever!
