Freaks or normal people?

Both can be very entertaining.

Freaks gave us series' like BB5 and 7. Normal people gave us series' like BB1 and 2.

With normal people it could backfire and be like BB4, but with freaks it could make the show look pathetic. =/

I dunno what I want. I thought BB10 had a good balance, but BB7 was just so amazing. I want extreme characters like Lea and Nikki - they'd have never made it into BB1 or 2. =/

BB5 was normal people. The only one I guess who could be classed as a 'freak' is nadia but only because she was different. Edit. And probably marco :laugh:

And I didnt think much of BB7 tbh. Much preferred BB6 :) Normal people mostly, but dickheads.

We had a house full of "normal" people in bb4 and that was a bit of a bore.

Just want a house full of strong, selfish, carefree characters. Like normal type party people.. as well as a few freaks.

The first series needs to be good, we can't risk another BB4, because people will base the quality of the C5 version on the first series. So 10% intresting freaks, 90% normal, intresting people.

Yeah but if they put in freaks theyre just copying C4 and they wont get the ratings they need...

BB9 had relatively normal people but with a few freaks like Darnell.

I agree with Vicky that BB6 had "normal" people but they were pretty much all dickheads. We need a mix like this.

We definitely need diversity in terms of age. BB has never really been good at that (in most countries, it seems).

Normal people! I'd say the BB5 bunch were 'normal' btw, it was BB6 onwards that got crazy or particularly fame hungry.

Normal people can still be interesting if the tasks and twists are fun and clever and the show works as a social experiment again. BB4 failed because the normal HMs were too nice, it still needs a range, or BB4 simply should have had a different eviction order. BB11 was also normal and the tasks were amazing a lot of the time but it was still quite abstract because they weren't allowed to argue like in the BB1-5 years, or drink much, and BB kept throwing in so many visitors.

This. The more interesting housemates seemed to leave at the start.

I know I keep bleating on about this but changing to VOTE TO SAVE would make a hell of a difference. Deadwood gone in first few evictions, interesting people remain, instead of the other way round.

I want real freaks, no freaks who are too over the top and are fake in auditions. For example, BB8 Carole, BB11 dave claiming to be drunk of of the lords love, Nathan and his "split personality" sea horse ect.
