Comedy out of the two. Horrors bore me. At least comedy's may rise a giggle

I don't watch horror films.
Was at my mates a couple of months back, was just us 2 and 2 girls, we stupidly let the girls choose what film to put on and they chose Hostel :bored: One of the most disgusting things I've ever seen.
Before that the last one I seen was Jeepers Creepers 2 about 6-8 years ago I think

Really, what's your favorite horror movie?
Horror also, btw. I like the adrenaline rush.

Really, what's your favorite horror movie?
All the Boys Love Mandy Lane, Silent Hill, The Hills Have Eyes (remake), Dawn of the Dead (remake), 30 Days of Night, they're some of my faves. But I'll watch most horrors, once it's not torture ones (like saw) or really creepy weird ones.
What is your fave?

I loved the remake of Dawn of the Dead (thought the original was kind of boring). I've never heard of All the Boys Love Mandy Lane (interesting title for a horror film) and 30 Days of Night sounds familiar but maybe I'm confusing it with 28 days later. They sound like new films.
My all-time favorite horror film is probably Return of the Living Dead. It has a happy mix of horror and comedy. If you like Zombie flicks I'd recommend it.
For pure horror I like films like The Thing, Poltergeist, Alien/Aliens, Predator, The Blair Witch Project, Let The Right One In. I guess I tend to like the older stuff.

BTW, for all you brits who dig horror there's a really good television movie that aired in the States in 1975 called The Trilogy of Terror. It had 3 stories and the last, called Amelia, was by far the best. Might want to have a look when you're in the mood for a scare. It's over 30 years old so you'll have to forgive their special effects.

Neither.

Horror out of the two.
I love really well thought out horrors (not of the Zombies type thing), psychological thriller types / dramas. Like comedies that but not when they are of the slapstick stupid comedy.
Morning Pyramid.. good holiday? :D
Comedy. Horrors don't scare me and what's usually left nine times out of ten is just a recycled idea forced into a terrible film with naff acting and more cliches than you can shake a stick at.
I'd rather laugh at things. Comedy has a much better social element that I value, sharing and repeating quotes ad nauseum etc. I mean entertainment wise there's just no comparison for me. Especially when watching a film in groups. I'm surprised horror has so many votes.

Just wish I could find a horror that actually scares me

Vampire films are one of my favs too. Loved From Dawn till dusk with it's mixture! Brilliant.
also love the more 'darker' Vampire movies. *licks lips*
I suppose you can like both in almost equal measure, as some B horrors are so watchable because they are so bad and thus pure comedy :joker: I chose horror in the poll though, although I prefer a good action film and thriller, love who dun its, James Bond, and most Bruce Willis films.

If the comedy show is like 2 Pints, then I think I'd rather watch a horror, which I hate. :joker:
But if it's something decent like Friends, or the film Airplane, then comedy any day. But it has to be funny.
