In this digital-age, do you own any 'actual' games? Of the non-games console kind?

Got a few up in the loft from when I was a kid, haven't played any in years though, apart from monopoly.

Got loads but they're 'away' in the loft never to come back down.

I think the last board game bought at my house was cluedo, played it once and it was in the loft after a few months. :laugh2:

Yeah we play them all the time when we have family round, Trivial Pursuit, Pictionary and Outburst mainly. Outburst is such a beast of a game.

Used to have loads of them.

Trivial Pursuit was always a favourite.

Can't remember the name of one that was great fun - especially when drunk and there are a lot of people, split into teams. teams..... egg timer., Card picked by one team and the other team had to name as many items that were listed on the card as possible, before egg timer emptied.

All sorts of rammies and fights over "I said that" - especially when team members are all individually shouting out answers to beat the 'clock'.

Cluedo still a favourite.

Hungry Hippos is great for a daft laugh as well (all the better when drunk!)

Oh...that rings a bell. Let me go google.... I think that's what it was called!

Checked it... I think we used to play it diffently though.

EG: the opposing team picked a card - question was: JUNGLE ANIMALS. Card said: lions, tigers, elephants, cheetah, gorilla, monkey, orangatans. Egg timer turned over: the other team shouted out the 'animals', and we'd score off it they got it right.

At the end, when the 'asking' team captain, read out the list on the card, inevitably, if they hadn't scored off TIGER, someone who had indeed said it, but not been heard because everyone was shouting out at the same time, would take the huff etc!!

Was bliddy brilliant!! :)
