I think at the moment Pete is the potential winner, does anyone dislike him on here? I think the final might come down to Pete and the KitKat winner, whats everyone elses thoughts? Also do you think Petes condition is a good thing or bad thing for him? He seems to have lots of fans already and I haven't seen many people disliking him.

I really can't stand him.
I think a lot of people are afraid to say they don't like him because thety might be seen as treating him unfairly because of his Tourettes. I just really can't stand him, Tourettes or not.

Do you think the public will feel for him because he is different?
I think he accepts what he has and doesn't feel ashamed to hide away from it, being on bb is a good thing but I can see people liking him because of his condition and because he is different.
I think he seems a nice genuine guy behind it all but still making my mind up on him.

its like putting someone in a wheelchair in the house .. noone will want to vote him out due to his disability.
i do think he plays on his tick a bit .. i reckon he uses that "Wanka" card a bit too much .. he knows we will find it amusing. but i could be wrong.

I think some people tick more than others, watching him sometimes he can go fine without doing anything but other times he does it alot. Anyone know anyone with Torettes on here that could let us know more info..?
I wouldn't like to think he plays up his condition and puts it on because that would be fake and the public wouldn't have a clue.

Well, I can't really predict what people are going to do but I have a feeling he is going to win.
I don't dislike him because he has Tourettes. Like, if it was any other housemate acting in such an OTT manner, like Shahbaz was, they'd immediately be disliked or slammed. But because Pete has TS nobody comments on his behaviour at all.
I don't think he plays on and uses the fact he is a TS sufferer. He doesn't do that at all IMO, unless he is doing all this unecessary swearing on purpose. But I doubt he is.
I just don't like him..

I think if people single out Pete, people will think its because of his condition. I can't see anyone having a arguement with Pete because they are aware he is different. I find him interesting to watch because it seems that the housemates ignore it when possible, the odd person smiles but most of them have learnt to get on with it which has suprised me...I thought it would annoy people and they would mock it.
He'll get plenty of sympathy votes I bet you with my last penny.
He's annoying but he has an excuse unlike Shabaz the drama queen.

I realy think Pete has a great chance of making to the end of BB, from what I have seen so far not many of the housemates seem to be bothered by him.

It's not a disease. It's a disability.
And I don't dislike him because he has Tourettes. I just don't like him.
It's hard what to make of him really, I don't dislike him or like him.

People are afraid to dislike him because he has Tourettes Syndrome.
It's in the bad for him already.

Hmm, it's difficult to say because, although a lot people say he is the favourite, the only thing we really know about him so far is that he has Tourettes.
He could been seen as being on a Nadia-style journey of acceptance and get a lot of votes that way I guess.
And I do think when a Tourettes person appears on television it changes the way people react to them somehow.
I saw a documentary once about someone with Tourettes and they took him round Paris to see how people would react to him.
This guy with Tourettes said that people reacted to him differently than normal because people could see the cameras and they thought he was some sort of performance artist.

I think he isnt putting any of it on but then again he is the first real person that I have seen have tourettes I didnt watch that tourettes camp thing

I said disease. Lmao
Sorry, disability.
If people dislike him because of that, that isnt fair, if its because hes horrible (in their opinion) then go for it.
Having Tourettes, makes him just as normal as the rest of us.
I can't see there being many people who dislike Pete really.
He will last right up to the final 3 - its predicatable even this early on.

I think he exaggerates and plays for the camera.
Many times he turns it on for the camera's, and it's belittling those with Tourettes who don't act on it.

I think the fact he has Torrets will work in his favour but I will be disapointed if he wins just because it seems obvious...him and the kitkat winner in the final.

It is really annoying me now how on the highlights show they play Pete saying 'wankers' evcen when he's not on screen.
For God's sake. It's bad enough emphasising it when he's on screen.
I really don't want him to win. It's becoming so predicatble now with all these gimmicky housemates.
Agreed Lance. I actually quite like Pete (although I think he could get exhausting company after a while), but I think the media are going to try and manipulate it so that he wins. Thing is, would he have as much chance as winning if he didn't have Tourettes? Probably not. He shouldn't be treated differently because of his Tourettes - by which I mean he should not be knocked for it, and neither should he be favoured for it.

Petes quite a joker, but i think he will start to get on my nerves after a while.
