I Almost Died Today, Like REALLY Almost.

I actually really need to share this, honestly.

I was in town today with my mate, a cute girl and my best friend.
We were like coming out of HMV and were going to cross the road to go to this little head shop - I wasn't paying attention at all.


We stopped to wait for the cars to stop and then I couldn't see anymore coming so I was like 'Epic' and went to run across the road and my friends and everyone else stayed where they were.

I ran across the road and stopped in the middle of a little island, and let another car past.

Then I walk straight out - off the little island, onto the road again and was walking slowly.
I was showing off tbh, because the girl was really hot who I was with and I wanted to look all awesome - but anyway I was walking and then I heard them all shouting at me but I thought they were just kind of worshipping how much balls I had.

No.

Suddenly I heard above everyone else's screams, my best friend just shouting 'DUDE!!' and I turned around to see a Double Decker Bus - inches away from me.

I'm not even kidding, you have no idea how ******ing close this Bus was to me.

I actually ran and jumped off the road, and was almost crying with shock - like I couldn't stop shaking, and everyone was kind of like WTF.

I swear to God, then when my friends crossed the road I was so grateful, like beyond grateful - to my best friend who shouted 'Dude!'.
Like honestly, I wouldn't even be on here at all right now - I would of died 4 Hours ago.


Honestly people, events like these make you realize how lucky it is to be alive.

I literally looked at the bus man when I turned round to face the hideous bus that was coming at me - and he just seemed like he didn't give a ******.

I know drivers that would rather drive themselves off a road - rather than run over a Deer.

The feeling you get afterwards is horrible.

I've thought about that before actually, you'd just think they had randomly decided to leave or something. Unless a friend/relative or something came on here and explained, on another forum I was on one of the members died and his friend left a message letting us know, it was a really weird feeling

I was crossing the road near my house on the way home from school and the predestrian lights were green, I got halfway and BAM this double decker bus drives right in front of me. It almost got me. I was about 5/6 inches away. I was so scared. Not only because he drove out in front of me but because he did it when my crossing lights were green.

I've done that before, but it wasn't my fault, I was crossing a road and a car let me cross and then when I was crossing the final section of the road he decided to speed at me and nearly hit me! then he stopped and gave me a dirty look, to which I replied "go ******* yourself" lol

Alot of drivers in the UK have the attitude that they are the kings of the road, well no, they need to understand that people use the roads too and have every right to cross etc. it really annoys me.
