Sibahn was
Heidi is a really lovely person, but anyone could fill her shoes in that group. Siobhan, Mutya and Keisha are all very distinctive people with distinctive voices and the three of them together were just a brilliant combination.

Keisha, Heidi and Mutya
I think Heidi, Jade and Amelle should only be performing songs that originally featured Heidi and Amelle; anything prior to that should be left in the past IMO. I'm willing to give them a chance as a group but there's very little news from them as to when to expect new music. Can't wait to hear Keisha's solo stuff!

I wouldn't say they were a fail. They came around in 1999/2000 and had a top 10 hit, which back then was a big deal as sales were a lot higher to achieve that, and they came about at a time when a lot of girl bands were around (and flopping) and at a time when stuff like 'Mr.Oizo', 'Sclub7' and 'Vengaboys' were number 1. 1999/200 were a strange, yet amusing years for music.

Overload was amazing, and i do like Run For Cover, but thats it the other songs were flops, and the album is so dull.

I loved that album. It's not OTT and very easy to listen to, whereas the other albums are very dancey and can only be listened to at the right moment. It also sold more in more countries than the last 2 Sugababe albums, so not a fail.

well C&S was a fail lol, but i liked Sweet 7 and it is underrated, i just dont get how people can love the 1.0 Lineups sound so much, like 1.0 only had 12 songs whereas the next sugababes sound spanned across 6 other albums?

i don't think im making much sense but ah well
I think it is kind of viewed with rose tinted spectacles but the praise is warranted nonetheless, when you consider how young they were when they first started working on that album, it really is an impressive album, as they contributed a lot to the song writing process. The songs were recorded in one take and when they sang live, they worked very well together. I think the line up worked because they were moody teenagers who weren't the best of friends, I think you need a little bit of resentment and competitive rivalry to produce the best possible result and unfortunately the rivalry got a little bit too much and Siobhan walked away. Siobhan's a perfectionist and Keisha's driven by success and sales; two very different types of egos with only one other person to mediate between the two and I guess when Heidi joined, there was nobody to really counter Keisha's ego. She's a very talented woman, but I think she must be a nightmare to work with, it's her way or the highway. I do think that 2.0 have a far superior back catalogue than 1.0, but they had the advantage of time on their side - when you look at the first album they released as a trio (with Heidi) it's not quite as good as 1.0 IMO.
-could go on for hours-
Whoever sang Push The Button and Hole In Head. Them.

Rest of them can die, especially the current wanna-bes.

Heidi, Keisha & Mutya
Heidi gave them a much needed smile and made them actually relatable rather than cold and hard looking.
But their music has been consistently good throughout all the changes
