Now can reveal John James' new girl's a 24-year-old part-time model and burlesque dancer named Sherrie Cobley, who bears more than a passing resemblance to Josie, 26.

Sherrie, who lives in Leicester with her parents, is the cousin of a friend of John James's who lives in Australia - and it was while on holiday there that she met John.

Devastated Josie's heartbreak has been compounded by her firm belief that John James, 25, was getting close to Sherrie while still professing his love for her - a claim that he denies.

A close pal tells Now: 'Josie's never met Sherrie but she's seen a picture of her on Facebook and thinks she looks like a man in drag!'

I am so glad that someone else sees what what I see. John James is gay...He hasn't come out of the closet yet. He is so angry and unhappy. I will will always believe what he said in the early days of being in diary room, he wasn't interested in Josie and didn't like her in that way. You could see it in his face how he felt about her. Not sure if Josie went along with the game. I like her so much in the beginning. She was so feisty and always putting him, in his place. That is why he always fought with the girls. He didn't have to have sex with her or be overly affectionate to convince me that it wasn't true. When you like someone, its all in the eyes and body language, you can't it help. He showed more affection towards JJ (he eyes lit up, when he was around him) or Sam Pepper.
