Just a bit of fun!

I was going to do this question last night and forgot.

Europe/Oceania are my fave continents that I have been too. I'm yet to hit South America and Antarctica though. :)

I've only been to three, Europe (obviously), North America and Australia. Out of those I'd say Europe, just because there is so many different countries and culture in Europe.

Asia (east asia e.g China and shizzle) and North America are my Favourites. Europe is cool too.

Europe > America.

I'm not interested in eastern countries and cultures at all. :bored:

Australia should definetely be one of my next destinations, but It's just so far away from other countries I like, that I probably would never like to live in there.

Mine's got to be North America, my dream is to do the cross country Route 66 gig and go from East to West Coast America, visiting every state if even only for a very short time would be an achievement.

Love to do the whole cross-Canada trail too and through the Rockies ending up in Alaska, amazing landscape!

Well my parents (when they were together) used to go to Florida loads and they took me there with my brother. Then a couple years ago, my Mum and I had always both wanted to go to China so I helped her plan it, and we went. China was one of the most amazing places I've ever been to. The people there are so sweet and funny and the monuments there like the Great Wall, Beijing Olympic Park and all the skyscrapers in Shanghai were amazing.

I love China. I'm desperate to go to Japan as well.

I was in the States when I was a kid but I don't have many memories outside of the photographs. Would love to go there now and maybe live/travel.

And I really want to visit Asia; China, Nepal and Japan, and maybe Africa but only to see the pyramids.

Also to spend a summer journeying around South America, that would be a divine adventure.

But I think Europe will always be my fave, there is just soo many places to see. And the few places I have been I adore. I think I could happily live in Paris for years.

I did not like Paris GG - I went there for a cheap sojourn after an illness. I stayed cheap accomodation but met many international friends. At that time my 2nd language was schoolboy french, the friend's 2nd language was English.

At a meal for 16 people, I have to listen what they want then order en francais for 16 - waiter was an idiot as mon fraincais :-) I will never go back there

I'm awful at speaking french but I always get by, so far I've found Parisians delightful, once or twice I've found things a bit difficult when I've gone off by myself. I wish I was going there this summer.

But like London the place is huge, maybe if you go back you'll have a wonderful time.

Paris has never been my scene, I do like it there, but I'd find it difficult to settle there. I suppose that's because I'm more of a romantic-adventurer as opposed to a quirky-romantic. But I do like the odd visit now and again to get a bit of artistic influence and inspiration. :)

I've been to all the continents apart from antarctica.

But my favourites are Asia (south east because of singapore) and Europe because of England.

I didn't think I would miss Asia but lately I've realised I'm going to miss Asia and Singapore so much. :bawling:

Europe I suppose, I've been to the US and loved it there but Europe's more diverse so I'd pick it over North America. Portugal

Actually Africa's the one I'd like to visit most, then South America, I'm not majorly bothered about going to Australia although I might go there for the Ashes or something if I have enough money in a few years

I love how Americans talk about Europe like it's some far far away planet.

Very true - even back in Paris, the next night was with Keichi (Japanese new pal) and some Japanese girls studying at the Sorbonne lovely and relaxed...............I'm just a nervous creature GG, so didn't like the pressure night 1 that I was the one doing the ordering for 16 'backbacker types' with me translating their orders to english to me, then me to french to waiter!

Excellent Niall - my nephew has done all except Antartica because his parents are bluddy rich - poor Ian only gets the cool t-shirts from Nicaragua or so.

My Nephew liked China, but he loved Tokyo more + wants to go back as an adult alone (he is 18 now) -

My silliest fault is of thinking of China as a 3rd world place. I was sitting in St Andrews (University town in Scotland) outside a bar enjoying the sunshine and wearing my Beijing soccer top that my nephew had given me.

A Chinese couple (tourists) came-up to ask if they could have their pictures taken with me as it was his favourite team who the couple go to see as season-ticket holders. They then immediately whacked the pictures off back home to their friends using their 3g phones.

Me sitting there with a crappy Motorola phone in pocket!
