I just thought of something for BB12.

AHHHHHHHH listen out!

Right.. there is 500 grand at stake. Lets just say the "normal" series will run for 10 weeks instead of the usual 13.
Right 10 weeks.... and every 2 weeks of them 10 weeks there is a massive big task everyone has to take part in! Which = 5 tasks!!
The winner of the task.. wins 50 grand. They can either take the 50 grand and leave the house or.. they could choose to stay in the house and that 50 grand can be rolled over to the next task in 2 weeks time!!

In 2 weeks time that means the game fund will be 100 grand. If someone wants to take the money at any time they win the task.. they can. Then they could be replaced by another housemate.

If the money keeps rolling over that means in the last task.. task 5.. there will be 250 grand for one person to win.

The rest of the 250 grand is the winners prize fund. So who knows.. 5 people could leave BB with 50 grand. The Winner with 250? Or if they keep rolling over the money we could have 2 winners with 250 grand. On the 5th task.. the winner could take the 250 and run.. or roll that money to the winners prize fund of 500 grand.

I personally think most people would just take the 50 grand if they won the task. Wise move.. not many housemates earn more than that when they leave the house. 50 grand is a lot of money. Even if you have no money. It is tax free money hopefully and they get a head start in life.

Therefore these big gameplaying tasks should happen at the end of.. Weeks 1, 3, 5, 7 and 9 with the final of BB at the end of Week 10.

I think it's better if the tasks happen every 2 weeks rather than every week. Spreads it out a bit and we will get to know the housemates more. The shopping fund can be won with say a mini task every week.

Nominations will still happen every week. And someone will always get evicted every week.

Like I said.. if anyone wants to leave BB or take the task winnings money and run.. that is the only time we should get a "new housemate".

So what do you think of my idea?

Any questions?

I hope I didn't confuse you!

Too many good housemates would leave. Even if someone was there for the experience, who would spend £50,000 on staying in the house?

Mmm suppose there is a threat of someone good leaving.. but they should all be good housemates. I personally think the one who wins the task gets the choice to take 50 grand.. the one who loses is automatically put up for evicition. If we end up losing a good housemate we need to lose a lazy, boring sod as well in hopefully a vote to Save.

Or maybe these big tasks should happen every 3 weeks?? I think it's all a good idea apart from a big character could leave?? Mmm.. but if they do.. replaced by another housemate :)

Why though. It just sounds like a plan from someone who just ... wanted to think up of a plan.

It doesn't encourage any real gameplaying because the housemates are not trying to vote each other out to reach the holy grail at the end. If anything it destroys gameplaying because you can either work as a team and keep building the money up or just take the money and sod off, taking yourself out of the equation without any need for playing the game in between the two weeks.

It's too complicated to be understood by the cro magnon dimwits who largely watch the show and for no reason. If it was convoluted and worthwhile then yeah, go for it. But it's not.

Well mmm. Okay I can see your points. Maybe they should just stick with a task every week. But the housemate who loses is automatically put up for eviction. I am sick of these boring, lazy sods who sail all the way to the final and then win the prize fund!
It's apparently not going to be a vote to save is it??

I just think there should be more "tweaking" with the money. And plenty of gameplay. Not just a plain sailing series with 500 grand at the end. Mmm.

I think it could work if they had to do tasks for the prize fund, only the winner gets it at the end.
I think it could replace the shopping tasks. By that I mean, still have the weekly tasks as normal, but instead of doing the tasks for shopping, they do it for the prize fund.
I'm a little fed up with hungry housemates.
Give them the equivalent of a luxury budget every week, and keep the beer fridge replenished every day.
