I was on the OK website, and they are running the same deal with the Golden Tickets, and I was reading the terms and conditions and noticed something quite interesting, as where the series stood with previous years.
10 Golden Ticket Claimants:
There are 120 Golden Tickets in total. Golden Ticket holders will win a chance to be selected to become a housemate on BB1 on Channel 5.
Golden Ticket claimants will be invited to London to undergo a screening and interview process with Big Brother producers and psychologists.
A Golden Ticket does not in any way guarantee a place in the Big Brother house or any preferential treatment. Successful claimants have no greater chance than any other Big Brother applicant who has reached the same stage of the application process.
Golden Ticket claimants will be subject to extensive background checks and must provide all requested documentation. Big Brother shall be entitled, at any stage, to exclude claimants at Big Brother's sole discretion. Big Brother will not be obliged to give any explanation of why a claimant has been excluded.
Successful Golden Ticket claimants will be required to sign up to the Big Brother terms and conditions of appearing on the programme and contract. These terms and conditions and contract will be substantially similar to those that all BB1 on Channel 5 housemates will sign
Its mentioned a couple of times, so it looks like BB12 is no more. BB1 would be more accurate.

BB1 :/ that's a terrible name, it should either be BB12 or just Big Brother

Fans will refer to it as BB12 regardless.
Plus they won't ever say "Big Brother 1 or 12" don't they usually mention the year? (presenter that is)

It was never officially BBanything it was always Big brother 2001/2002/2008 ect.
Fans branded it as BB9/BB11 ect so therefore it is what the majority of fans brand it as when it starts.

120 golden tickets? Sounds good. I think a few of these tickets should go to Wales, Scotland, Northern Ireland and Ireland. Seeing as though they are far away from the open auditions. Hopefully there will be golden tickets going to Yorkshire too! :D
I would love to find one!!

Oh the golden tickets won't go to Ireland. UK only it says. I still hope some go Scotland, Wales and Northern Ireland. Rather than just England. Especially London :nono: lol

Doesn't matter what its called its back which is all that matters! it'll be refered to as bb12 by the fans anyway, after all it was us fans who started the number thing, channel 4 never did so nothing changes!

But by the looks of it C5 are calling it BB1. The point I'm trying to make is, it looks as though the previous 11 series won't have happened.

Does it matter what it's called? It's blatantly obvious that Big Brother has been around since the year dot, and we don't need to dwell on the fact that the format is getting old. BB1 or BB12, as long at the production's tight and there's a good casting of housemates, it doesn't matter.

Among fans i think it will be known as the 12th BB So BB12, However in C5 Production terms it will be classed as BB1 As it is their BB. I know i will always call it BB12 As i understand it easier than BB1 Again and classing the C4 BB1 Classic BB1 :)

You are welcome.
That is the way it ought to be and yes I had something to do with this.
I don't want it to be a complete reboot, I want BB12 :(
Or simply just BB 2011 :p

It will always be viewed by the fans as the twelfth series of Big Brother so they can say what they want quite frankly
