What kind of dreams do you have?

I always forget what I dream about 2 seconds after waking up. Sometimes when I dream I trip and while I'm falling to the ground I wake up.

Theres loads of different theories. Apparently if we didn't dream we'd crack up as it's the brains release etc etc. Not sure what I believe about dreams. They just happen......

That's a very common dream I think, when I was younger I used to dream that all the time. D:

Most of my dreams involve people I'm really close to, mainly my friends, not in a specific situation though. D:

Some nights when I close my eyes, the first things that come to mind are the death of grandmother or animals being killed to be made out of fur coats which are things that I'm either really scared to happen or that I'm revolted it happens, so I just open my eyes and hope the next time I close them I dont get the same images in my mind and as consequence dont dream about them. :sad:

Have a lot of 'nap' dreams too. Say if I drop off watching the news, I dream about what I was watching. Usually very brief though as thankfully I can wake myself up from dreams

I hardly ever remember my dreams but I sometimes have dreams when I'm like half asleep and I'm walking through school and I trip then I have like a **** attack in my bed and wake up like I've actually fallen.

But I sometimes trigger dreams on purpose like I put my alarm the sound of Davina announcing evictions and then I dream about big brother.

The teeth falling out (in front of people) makes a regular appearance...... most of my dreams aren't the pink, fluffy type. Some are ones that wake me up and I dread going back to sleep in case I go back into the 'same dream' again. :bawling:

I quite often dream that my boyfriend is horrible to me or we split up. and then I'm angry at him when I wake up ha. but the rest of the time they're just completely random about random people I know

I was told that too, I rarely remember any dreams I have, I used to dream a lot about spiders for some reason and was told they were good dreams.

The dream I most hated I had was for Uni, I was having to do a very important speech and presentation and I was really worried,I then had a dream I had prepared for the day, gone in, done it all, and felt massive relief when it was all over,then woke up in the Morning to realise it was a dream and I still had it to do.

You have to wake up in REM (rapid eye movement) sleep, or up to 10 minutes after REM sleep to recall a dream, which is the deepest stage of sleep (theres 4)

I love it when you think youre falling and you get a head rush and you twitch and wake up, so cool :L

I woke up in sleep paralysis once. It's terrifying. My body was deadlock and my eyes were open but the dream was still half playing out. The entire room was pulsating like it was under a train track or something. It felt like tripping absoloute balls.

Took about a minute to wear off.

Last dream I remember was where my friend was running for some kind of President post (not sure what of) and he was doing a meet and greet thing, when I went to the toilet there was this woman with a kid and it turned out it was someone he'd slept with one night & it was his kid, she was gonna tell people and it would ruin his campaign so I ran out to tell him then I woke up :/

I love how really weird dreams always seem completely normal when you're actually in them :laugh:

I don't often remember my dreams as I am a ridiculously deep sleeper, but the one recurring one I have had quite often now is all my teeth falling out! I hate it! Idreamt it again in fact just the other night!

Also have had quite a few of the usual ones. Like ending up naked in a room full of people. Once a few years back I had one where I was on drugs and gurning like mad and my teeth started grinding so hard that they kinda grinded themselves down into nothing. That one was really horrible.

Overall they are good dreams though, but weird as hell :joker:

I get sleep paralysis quite regularly tbh. Its horrible. It takes me about couple minutes to get out of it and to slowly get my body back to normal. Like I have to focus on one body part (e.g arm) and get that to move and the rest of it follows.

Omg there was one dream that was really odd.

Well it started out with me on the bus on the way home from school and for some reason I had a Blackberry. Some kid came up to me and asked me for my Blackberry Pin so I gave it to him, then all of a sudden I was at the us stop and everyone was crowding around me asking for my pin, then I got so many messages my Blackberry exploded.

Last night's one involved Jim carrey being my tutor at a uni and him getting the class to do some kind of wind arms dance where it looked like our arms were independant from our bodies. this dream also involved my mum and sister in an old house we used to live in....i just have very weird dreams. anyone can star in it

I also had (what seemed like) a really long dream. Cant remember it all but know I didn't like it. Part of it was me in the park and there was loads of dogs chasing foxes. One had a dead one in it's mouth :( Another fox ran infront of me and I was trying to scare it away from the dogs but it wouldn't move. I was so upset

Had a dream that some guy poured beer over me then down my pants cos I knocked into him by accident. So I threw the glass at him and it hit him on the side of the head and everyone shouted "nice shot". Went outside and there was like 100's of people all after me. (This all seemed football related) So kept running and managed to make it to this club for some reason they didn't go in. Then it turned out the guy I'd thrown it at was my mate, but it wasn't the same guy yet I accepted it anyway D: lol
