This "Golden Ticket" business really was just a ruse to sell newspapers? I hate to sound as paranoid and mental as some posters on here, but it would be a great way to sell papers.

After all, how are we the public really to know if this "Golden Ticket" thing is genuine?

There has after all been a distinct smell of "set-up" to Big Brother occasionally. (The last "Golden Ticket" thing in 2006, the thing with Mario as the supposedly "random" housemate in 2010...)

I'm sure a supposed Golden Ticket winner could be easily arranged and paraded as one.

(It will probably be a blonde with big tits, though i could be wrong.)

I just dont see the point in it. Especially people who will BUY the tickets off ebay.

Apparently all they do is skip you to the last round of auditions...well...if you are going to be passed through the last round, you would have been passed through the earlier rounds too. So why pay for a ticket when you could have got to the same stage for free?

Yes it could easily be a trick. All they would have to do is give the person they want in a golden ticket. But we wont ever know so there isn't much point worrying about it. Just don't buy the papers if you are worried about being tricked.

It will be, but atleast its drumming up some sort of interest.

IIRC there's something like 120 golden tickets... obviously not all of those can go in. If you win a ticket you're not guaranteed a place, all it does is let you skip past the first round of the auditions. I don't see why they would bother lying about it.
