 I was going to ask if all your books were stolen.
I get this urge to collect. I've got about two hundred of them I think, well I've never counted, but there is a lot.
About a hundred I guess. I had more but I sold them for ... money ... a few years ago. Never sell books. They are worthless. Completely worthless. Such a bulky, worthless commodity to pawn off.

I haven't lived in London for over 20 years. And it's easy to move books, you just put them into boxes. Most of my books are in storage at my cousins house from when I went to Oz.
How many Harry Potter ones were there?

For some bizarre reasons I'm drawn to film guides. I seem to have about 9 big thick ones.
bizarre because I don't actually watch many films. I just like reading reviews!
Im not into fiction though and most of my books are factual.

What does 'stop bumping old threads' mean?
I'm not being sarcastic. I'm a wrinkly, who has only been using a computer for a short while and a lot of the jargon used on these sites leaves me completely baffled.

could you not have donated them to the hospital or the hairdressers or something, or even sell the bag to a car booter?? what a waste
not many as I never re read books so generally give them to a charity shop or to the jumble sale.

Stop being so rude. This thread was bumped by a newer forum member that actually had something of worth to add to the topic.

I throw away hundreds of books a month and no - they are paperbacks and have no value. If fact they often clogg up charity shops
I am back to having around 500 or so again. I'm going to take some more boxes to the charity shop though.

Why no value even if just sold for 20p or less, my sons barber has a load of books they loan out for 1.00, they have given over 1500 pounds to the disabled veterans club across the street, at least put them in recycling :fist:
