So after my highly (un)anticipated comeback, Glenn persued me to start another BB project. Heeeere it is...

:: Eye ::
The eye uses a customised template with longer eye lashes and a slightly bigger hole in the middle. It's doesn't have a strict colour scheme, meaning advertising and graphics are more flexible. Note to all conspiracy theorists btw- there is no deep meaning behind the eye!! It just looks a bit evil.

:: Auditions ::

Auditions will span across the UK and Ireland to maximise the potential to pick interesting and unique housemates. Furthermore, Big Brother will travel to major events and festivals, setting up portable audition booths and also looking to personally select potential housemates. The audition process will be made easier to access, however it will be harder to be successfully selected for the show. Those looking for an easy platform to fame and bores will especially be weeded out early in the process as much as possible.

Auditions will take place at the following locations:

London
Glasgow & Edinburgh
Dublin & Belfast
Birmingham
Liverpool
Manchester
Cardiff

OK, so the studio is indoors this year, but the crowd can still cheer, boo, bring in banners and stand. I just think it will give a better atmosphere to have the entrance indoors. It also means anyone at the eviction can watch the interview of the evicted housemates, rather than just friends and family.

The studio is literally the first and last things the housemates will see before entering and after leaving the house. They will enter the studio by car and walk up to the stage before proceeding along the glass platform to the doors of the house.

A massive LED screen lines the whole back of the stage. The studio can house 1000 fans and uses state-of-the-art lighting and sound technology. The indoor studio allows Big Brother to be more flexible with live shows, as noise pollution is not a problem.

^^ It's no different to having the crowd stand right in front of the house, like the current set-up. only difference is that there's a roof over the crowd now, which is actually more likely to contain the noise and stop it from travelling. There is no difference in distance between the crowd and the house compared to previous real series.

ok, i'm sorry guys, but i've bin really busy lately with A levels, work ex & other kinda important stuff... so it's hard to try and balance this project in the bigger picture. I'm not sure how often i'll get to update this between now the end of the month, and then as soon as i finish i go on holiday sooo... :s but i'm just letting yous know i'm alive. I'll try to get something up asap :)

thanx! I use google sketch up and then render the stuff with kerky & use photoshop for the graphics. I guess i'm so good with it because i've been using SUP & photoshop for around 5 years now, and I also done work experience for architecture. But you need a creative flair too.

Coming in from your 2009 project you've got a lot to live up too Conor, so in comparison you absolutely fail when it comes to the graphics. Even if keeping the eye it's not a very original interpretation of it, and the graphics are just too big IMO. I also think retaining the eye, especially in the sort of form C4 used it in, isn't in C5's interests.


Love the studio though - a fairly simple idea with enough features to make it look much more impressive than it actually is. There is so much more they could do with an indoor space - and although ideally the studio would link directly to the house it isn't the end of the world if it doesn't as you can cover up the journey from house to studio in other ways (e.g. for launch playing the VT, for evictions either with live reaction from the house, a VT of HM Best Bits or a break).


You do tend to be one of the most original posters here when it comes to the studios and house itself, which is why in this case the actual logo and graphics disapoint.
