It's every single PS2 Game I ever bought :amazed:

Nostalgia or what.
Do any of you have any of those games?
I swear they bring back so many memories all the games, they're from like 2001 - 2006.
It's amazing how far the graphics and that have all progressed since the PS2 Era.
And back in The Middle of The Noughties virtually everybody had PS2s.
There was none of this 'I have an xbox, screw you!' bollocks.
And the whole gaming market wasn't ruined by Call of ******ing Duty, there were so many random and epic games.

The Sims Urbz, was what I call the dogs bollocks.
I loved Eye Toy, and also believe it or not had all the Smackdown vs Raw games. :p
The PS2 had an amazing, amazing catalogue. The 360 is getting there though. I probably played the original Xbox more though and used the PS2 for PS1 games.
You have some real stinkers there that I'll blame on childhood. Here Comes The Pain was the best U.S. wrestling game since No Mercy N64 and is still the best of the series. The GTA games are obviously amazing. The Warriors was surprisingly decent.
I hated that Crash game. The series lost it by then. Crash 2 is where it's at still. And Driv3r is just ... so bad.
TimeSplitters 2 and Final Fantasy X are the best PS2 games not on that list for me personally.

Ha! I've got Dog's Life, GTA III, GTA: Vice City, GTA: San Andreas, Tomb Raider: Anniversary, The Simpsons: Hit and Run, Spider-Man 2, Theme Park World, and Crazy Taxi
Dog's Life was the dog's bollocks. I love all them games but Spider-Man 2 is technically my brother's and we only played it the once. Why don't you have any Tekken games, Mr?

The Simpsons Hit and Run was brilliant - everyone had it. :D
LOL I remember I hated Crazy Taxi, I played it for like 10 minutes and couldn't control it and my mum brought it back - we had like a massive argument in the Game shop about what game I would get instead and then my Mum just lifted this game called '7 Sins' [which is up there].
I looked at the back and was like :amazed: the whole game is about like some Pimp and Sex and that, it was pretty filthy.
Thanks Mum

LOL Yeah; half of them I would never buy now.
Oh yeah you're right about The Warriors, the PS2 had alot of Games that were adapted from Movies or TV Shows - and most of them sucked.
But The Warriors was brilliant, I loved how most of the game takes place before The Movie and it all kind of fits in well.
Rockstar did a fantastic job with it.

Tekken 2 is my favourite Tekken because of the nostalgia. Although Tekken 3 kicks its ass at the gameplay, Tekken 2 has better characters, storylines, locations, modes, etc.

Some of them bugged the piss out of me when I was a kid though. I barely remember that game but the stuff with the bees annoyed me. Think it was like second from last warp room. The bosses were all so, so easy though.

Yeah same. I played 2 before 3 so that did for me what 3 did for most people. I much rathered the copycat sub boss characters than 3's 'proper' unlockable characters. 3 kicked out all the weird and wonderful stuff like P Jack, Ganryu etc with all the lazy storylines. Oh Wang needs drinking money. SO HE ENTERS A MARTIAL ARTS TOURNAMENT. Oh Jack 2 needs to find his creator. SO HE ENTERS A MARTIAL ARTS TOURNAMENT. Everything can be solved by either setting up or entering a King Of Iron Fist tournament.
As far as PS1 games go Final Fantasy VII-IX are all in my top ten games ever. FFVII is unparalelled in being just the best experience I have ever had with any entertainment medium. It's the perfect game to grow up playing.

You have never heard of the Tekken games? Blasphemy!
Let me educate you, bitch. They're a series of Beat 'Em Up Games and IMO they're the best. All of the characters have different moves and they're individual stories are pretty decent too. You can play as the devil, an angel, a number of robots, a fire-breathing demon, this little lizard that farts toxic gas, a freaky ninja with a sword, a sexy Irish assassin (I named my old hamster after her, Nina), a velociraptor with boxing gloves, a kangaroo, a panda, a bear, a leopard-masked alcoholic Mexican wrestler, some guy that is stylised after Bruce Lee, some guy stylised after Jackie Chan, some guy stylised after Wesley Snipes. Tekken 3 for PS1 was probably the best but Tekken Tag and Tekken 5 (both PS2) were awesome.
Here's the Tekken 2 and 3 intros and a vid of playing Tekken 5 as Devil Jin...

Lol, I think I heard of that game. Everyone my age loved Crazy Taxi when it first came out but then they got bored of it soon after. Personally, I prefer The Simpsons: Road Rage which was pretty much just the Simpsons version of Crazy Taxi.

I think i agree with the Tekken 2 having better characters and Tekken 3 havign better gameplay. I liked how Tekken 3 was set like 20 years later so it developed some of the existing characters and introduced loads of new ones and IMO I think that's what the next game should do because 4, 5 and 6 are all set at roughly the same time so they've got a little repetative.

I also prefered that each character in Tekken 2 had their own individual sub boss like how Armor King was to King and Kunimitsu to Yoshimitsu. It's because they each had their own rival or mentor. And yeah the stories were great lol. Some of them are still ridiculous like how in tekken 5 Ling Xiaoyu enters so she can create a time machine lol.
I think I prefered FF8 to 7 because it got rid of the annoying MP bar and just let you get on with the big attacks. FF9 was a bit fo a let down but I like how it was more liek the first few so for me FF7, 8 and 9 all stand out as a good trilogy

Those bee levels are bastards. :joker:
Also, ikr. P. Jack was amazing.
Plus the Tekken 3 boss was easy as **** and killed off/got rid of some of my faves (Jun, Michelle, King I). I know King II isn't that different but it isn't the same.

I really love VIII but I love it to the point that I'm willing to ignore what I believe is an enormous list of flaws. The Junctioning system was just too abstract for me. Being able to refine Demi spells from playing cards or pull it out of monsters heads and store up to but not beyond 99 black holes in your back pocket was just too much for me even though it is a fantasy game.
Squall is an annoying emo gimp, Seifer is so awesome that they decided to totally bitch him out, give him easy boss fights, and dispose of him as the primary antagonist in favour of some characterless time travelling witch, I could go on.
This guy does a very good series of video reviews ripping the game apart :

I still lurve it though. When you are roaming the world map or fowarding text with your thumb or listening to awesome battle music at 4 in the morning after playing it for 12 hours straight your forced to love it and develop this nostalgic attatchment to it. Those games do that really well.

Ha, I agree with all of the above but think it's for those reasons I liked it. I think if Seifer had been the main antagonst he'd have been comapred too much to Sephiroph and FF8 would ultimately have been just FF7 but with highschool kid characters. I never really bothered with the trading card system, I loved the GFs and FF8 does make me really nostalgic
