I'm doing my GCSE's at the moment and I plan to continue at school next year to do sixth form.

Finished my A-Levels in 2009. Only just starting my degree in september this year, which will take about 3 years. Wish I hadn't left it, I'd be heading into my final year.

I'm Scottish so my qualifications are different but I finished sixth year in 2009 and have just finished my 2nd year of university, I'm going on a year abroad in September to teach English to German school pupils and then returning to complete two years of honours so will graduate in 2014. Or die mid way through my Junior Honours year if the world ends, damn.

1 A, 7 Bs, 2 Cs in Junior Cert, 405 points in my Leaving Cert, 1 year of a nursing degree I gave up on and just finished my 1st year of English and Linguistics which I plan to stick with, 2 years left of it.

then erm...messed around in sixth form, only got:
A - English Literature (A2)
C - Politics (AS) no idea what I got for A2, probably an E.
D - German (AS), dropped it for A2
D - Critical Thinking (AS)

then took a year out for no reason whatsoever. Joined college in 2009, have so far got:
A - English Language (AS) (predicted A/A* for A2)
predicted A for Sociology (AS)
predicted B/A for Finance Studies (AS)

basically, children, don't dick around in sixth form. -had personal problems too but still-
going to University (Bath Spa) in September to study English Lit.

Doing A2's now, will hopefully get AAB in English, History & Economics then I'm doing English & History at Uni next year. I kinda regret that choice now though and might see if I can change to either straight History or History & Politics.

Cant remember what I got at GCSE, think I got one A* in English lit, a couple of A's and then the rest B's pretty much

I did 7 standard grades in; Maths, English, German, Chemistry, Biology, Latin and Economics

Then 4 highers in German, English, Biology and Economics

Then took a year out before university, got a job, saw all my friends with no money and no jobs and still have never been to university! :blush:

You don't get Diplomas, HNDs or a Degree with pish grades. Work it out sunshine - after all....you claim to be intelligent and all that. ;) It ain't rocket science.

I'm doing my GCSE's atm, this is how they are predicted to come out:

(What I've already got in the bag)

OCR in ICT - Merit (equivalent to 2 A's and 2B's)

(Everything else)

English Lit - B
English Lang - B

I'm doing really well in my speaking and listening tests, so if I try really hard in the other exams I could get an A.

Maths - B
OCR in Science - Merit (equivalent to 2 B's)
OCR in Art & Design - Merit (equivalent to 2 B's)
Drama - B ( I think I could get a better grade though)
History - C
Media - B

And because of the English Baccalaureate, being noted to us halfway through the year, there was a bit of a kerfuffle with everyone changing about so they could be able to do it. Some people wanted to change to do a language and it was to much fuss, so they were thinking about doing it at sixth form, and i'm actually thinking about doing it.

When it comes to other subjects at sixth form I actually have no idea what I want to do, I was thinking about doing Photography, which I know I can do because I asked the teacher. I also want to do Psychology and Sociology, but who knows...I haven't actually decided if I want to stay at my school or just go to a college in my hometown. Time will tell, but i'm actually really excited.

I don't know if it all matters though, because i'm really desperate to become a model agent and apparantly that doesn't require any qualifications. I would wait to see the career adviser but I don't think he'll have the foggiest when it comes to being a model agent, so I might just phone up the company I want to work for and ask them about it.
