I always hear one but never know where it actually is lol
I heard one about an hour ago  Sounded like it was in our road, but we live in a cul-de-sac so it can't have been :p
The dogs here absoloutely loose it when one swings by. It's hysterical.

How did she get that job
I wouldn't mind being an ice cream man
How funny is it when you see someone walking down the street towards one that it just suddenly drives off and the person does a full sprint down the road thinking it's going to stop further down but it carries on :joker:

Find an ice-cream supplier, buy an ice-cream van then plan a route if you want to do a self-employed business.
If you want to work for somebody, you could ask the ice-cream driver if by any chance hes looking for any drivers, or find out who owns ice-cream van businesses near you, youll probably need to find somebody who owns more than 1 van.

Right
Time to buy a van, some ice cream, and hit the beach

Most depressing thing ever.
Every Sunday - even if it's snowing, ******ing Mary Had A Little Minge playing over and over.
Makes me sick.

ours came back in April for like a week and then disappeared (I only noticed because it had changed the music from Greensleeves to something rubbish :bored:)

Growing up in a council estate, the 'icey' was an important part of every day living - and you could set your clock by its arrival.
Running out in the slippers for 20 fags and a bottle of Irn Bru for my grannie, every night at 9pm. Weans out in their jammies and housecoats etc!!!
and woe behold if the icey was 30 minutes late: the grief the poor guy used to get !!!:hugesmile:
Then you'd get the Mr Whippy guy trying to muscle in and arriving 15 mins earlier than 'Starks' (the usual guy) - and if any of the neighbours went out to the Mr Whippy - they felt the wrath of everyone !!!
Since private housing starting sprouting up, you hardly see them around any more. Still see them in some council estates - kinda sad really - I miss having one doing its round. :(

My parents told me that the van with the music was the child catcher coming to take me away :bawling:
I spent years running indoors every time i heard it and my parents didnt have to buy me icecream :bawling::bawling:

Theres a lovely Ice Cream van-man around here. He's always handing freebies out. God knows how he makes a profit.
Does make me laugh though as he's out in all weathers. He's even been around once it snowed. Funny thing is, a good whack of his customers are adults. They shove the kids out of the way to get there first :laugh2:
