Big Brother 10 Launched.

We were all sitting down watching - some in disgust at the changes, some over the moon; as some of the most outrageous housemates we have ever seen entered the house.

And it twas then that we discovered the almighty Dark Horse as he emerged from the car in this Summer '09 night.

And this was the final launch show we watched without thinking 'This is the end.'

It wasn't the best series, but either way;

Happy Birthday BB10.

Can remember being on here talking about it, and winding everyone up about Sree in the first few days. Only feels like about 6 months ago.

Probably my favourite series. Just special, special stuff that was all about the housemates. Some of the story arcs played out so well it was almost as if someone had scripted it.

Agree completely with the whole Noirin fiasco...

Freddie and Bea

Charlie and Rodrigo

Sophie and Kris

ect

Incredible and underrated series!!

Agree - it's probably the only BBUK to have little 'Storylines' within it.

The rest usually just blended in together or every other series had one thing that it was known for.

BB5 - Evilness
BB6 - Bitchiness
BB3 - Division

Some series [like BB11 and BB9] would change so much that at the end it seems like a different show.

But yeah I agree BB10 had so many little Soap Opera Storylines going on like Sophia and Sophia's feud, Kris and Sophie's 'romance, the Marcus and Sree feud , Freddy being picked on constantly, Siavash and Noirin kissing, The Newbies coming in, Rodrigo and Charlie etc etc

It goes on and on - but it was like one 'story' came to a good ending and another plot would begin straight after that usually kept us hooked.

Incredible and underrated series!!

I think BB10 suffered what BB9 suffered really.

Both were fantastic series; but the only people who actually recognize this are die hard fans.

The typical fan stopped after BB8 and missed out on two fantastic series.

BB10 and especially BB9 should be up their in people's memories with BB3, BB5 and BB7 but people don't even remember them which is a shame.

I would say BB11 also suffered from BB8 being a disgrace; but BB11 deserves to be forgotten.

I wouldn't of said that if BB11 carried on the way it was in the early weeks though, but once Shabby I think left - the whole series turned around and went downhill - COMPLETELY.

Agree completely, Sophie was a great winner, BB10's finalists put BB11's to shame completely!

BB10 was the final good series I think. So underrated.

Each housemate added SOMETHING to the house, even Hira believe it or not [[her and the cake and the 'yeah yeah' song :joker::joker:]]

Marcus
Sophie
Bea
Siavash

Four of my favourites, what a great series

ruined by the most boring clique dominating the final weeks (David, Lisa, Charlie, Rodrigo, Sophie)

plus some ridiculous interruptions (Tom, Isaac, Kenneth) that really did nothing but to destroy some of the other existing Housemates (Noirin, Karly)

Karly

I agree - the new housemates [Tom, Kenneth, Hira] were pathetic.
Although David was hilarious looking back - what a complete tit, and Bea was a horrible bastard but still created some good moments.
Isaac was amazing.

But yeah Karly - so under rated.

Isaac- He was brilliant in the two days he was there, not as a character but purely for smashing the house dynamics up, changing Siavash.

Tom- Another of Noirin's advances. Was not entertaining but as I say still added something to the house.

Kenneth- The legendary escape. Didn't do much else except for threatening to shoot Bea.

Yes Lisa and David overstayed their welcome by weeks. Loved to hate Lisa.

Bea. Currently re-watching BB10 and I have to say Im really enjoying it compared to BB9 and BB8. I kind of got into the mind set that the BB's went progressively downhill from 8 but re-watching it reminds me why I love BB. First series I ever watched properly.

But at launch Bea wasn't in so....

BB10 only worked because of great house mates, the production and twist side sucked.

While compared to BB11, had good twists and production, but **** HM

Agree completely, the housemates carried it ALL of the way.

No twists whatsoever excluding the beginning one.

I thought an interesting idea for a new BB series would be to get a bunch of housemates which they could confirm had never seen big brother uk and put them in an old series.

E.g. the tasks take place at the exact same time and of the exact same thing. Same house ect ect. Same everything except housemates.

I think it would be incredibly interesting to see how that would pan out.

OMG Yes!

They could do that like a few years down the line on C5 - the whole 'old tasks from the old era' would be so nostalgic for us.

That's weird; we'll be referring to BB1-BB11 as 'The Olden Days' of BB from now on lol.

The Golden Years were BB5-BB7 lol.

Plus if BB12 + is really good they'll be the golden ones :P

Oh I know now 5-7 are referred to as golden years but I can see them all being generalised when compared to the disaster of BB12. *hopes not but if I'm negative I won't be disappointed*

I really liked BB10 but the house was sh!t and the twists were pathetic.

Brilliant housemates though and Bea was one of the greatest BB villans ever!!!
