Daily stars golden tickets, they've vanished!

am i mistaken thinking theres no golden tickets in this weekends daily star? why has none picked up on this?

as fars weve been told the golden ticket competition was supposed to run to the 20th june but during saturday 4th june an sunday 5th of june no golden ticket wallets were issued in neather the dailystar or ok magazine wich leads to say the whole thing was a flop and waste of money for like ink and things aha!!

yes i did pick up on this and posted on twitter bbspy etc.The competition says that it ends on 20th June so why were there no promotions or tickets in this weeks papers.This has obviously gone ****up.i have checked the papers this weekend and found nothing about the golden tickets at all.

No they didn't - wallets have been in every issue of OK! Mag and every weekend issue of the Daily Star over the last two weeks.

The third week began yesterday, and according to them the promotion ends on the 20th of June - yet neither yesterday or today's issues of the Star have even mentioned it. Either all the tickets have been found - which is highly unlikely since none have been publicly declared - or it's been a big con.

The problem is the majority of people will not even open the wallets to see if they have a winning ticket, so most will have just gone in the bin.

The point here tho is that the competition doesnt run out until 20th June so why no promotion in the papers or at least an explanation why it has stopped.Yes the tickets are probably in the bin but they cant just stop the competition until the closing date.

I agree, they have probably realised about all the tickets going in the bin though and have realised they might only end up with a handful of people with winning tickets. They are probably panicking and trying to think of a way out of it. I wouldn't be surprised if they just forgot about it and we never heard of the competition again.

See it just goes to show how 'heavily promoted' it is that I thought they were only in the papers that one Saturday.

It was that Saturday the world was meant to end last month.
Surely they'll be found out - and punished if it's a con?

Still searching for the winning tickets or at least trying to find one on ebay.I think Miss Marple would have trouble solving this one they just seem to have vanished along with the tv ad and promotion.

I think the majority of the winning tickets have been thrown out or not open. I wish at least 1 person has found a winning ticket though. And yes.. keep checking ebay! WE NEED PROOF.
