Gears Of War is awful. It's like the complete opposite of Halo. Dreary, drained of colour, and slow.

Halo is the business. I'm delighted it's getting a proper sequel but kind of apprehensive because Bungie don't develop it anymore.

I think the remake could end up being just a HD upscale download like Perfect Dark rather than an actual redevelopment of the whole game :(.

Halo 3 ending :

Cortana drops a distress beacon, but realizes it may be years before they are rescued. The Chief enters cryonic sleep, telling Cortana to "wake me, when you need me." If the game is completed at the Legendary difficulty level, the scene continues to show the piece of Forward Unto Dawn drifting towards a mysterious planet.

So it might be Chief by himself? Or will they skip a few centuries? lol....actually that'd awesome, new tech - possibly Covenant and Human made....though on the minus side, Arbiter would be gone

No it's not. It's beautiful, revolutionary and bloody fun to play.

- The planet that Halo 4 takes place on is called Requiem, it was first seen in the Halo 3 Legendary ending
- The Covenant are still enemies, but it is likely it is just a radical sect of them, rather than the whole Covenant
- Cortana is nearing the age where AI's tend to get a bit psychotic and start questioning themselves
- Master Cheif will have more of a character this time
- Multiplayer ties into the story, the matches take place on the human ship's holodeck
- There will be a new enemy
- It takes place 4 years after Halo 3

Wow, what a game, one of the best in the series IMO, it didnt feel like it was trying to live up to any past Halo games, looking forward to Halo 5
