I don't know if this exists but I swear I have it. I often find that I mistype words and it usually the same words such as myslef (myself) and then have to edit my post.
But when I'm writing them in real life I never have any problems. Why is it on computers I seem to look like I come across as dyslexic sometimes?

I get that a lot.
Especially with long passwords when you cant see what you're typing. But to fix it you just need to be aware with certain words and slowly it will correct it self. Its just because of habit that it happens a lot.

I know how to spell the words though and I sometimes even watch myself type, but it's not a case of hitting the wrong button; more a case that my brain seems to switch letters around, but only on computers.

I have the same problem ::laugh: but it's not my fault really as I believe I have a dyslexic keyboard

I get that a lot too, but I think one hand types quicker than the other so that's how letters in words get mixed up with me. I generally have to correct loads, sometimes after I have posted too.

I do it a lot. Plus most of the time I don't spot it even though I re-read. It's had me thinking about it loads of times
I know of someone who cannot type "the" right for love nor money (always types "teh"). Infact now, people think he's typo'd if he actually spells it correctly

I put myslef but I usually correct it before posting.
And sometimes I put a word that doesn't even make sense, and wasn't the one I intended to put.

I like to think of it as the brain thinking faster than the fingers can type: so there's bound to be a mix up now and then.
It could never ever be attributed to operator error. We all know these pesky keyboards are at fault too, in not being able to read our minds, and do away with the need for the finger tapping. Bad keyboards!
I always spell finished and because wrong.
Niamh.

I always spell finished and because wrong.
I always spell definitely wrong (except when I just typed it then funnily enough!)
