What magazines did you used to read in your childhood?
I remember I used to get Disney and Me! That was brilliant.
Now it looks rubbish!
And then I was into "Shout" magazine. And "Mizz". As a pre teen/early teen!

I got the first 3/4 mags of the 'Jackie Chan' cartoon series and then the shops around here stopped selling them :(
I wanted to get them all for the talismans :amazed:

I remember Twinkle, I got a drawing in there and won an art set. I loved Beano too although that's a comic. As an early teen I liked Shout and Mizz.

Same, I just wanted the talismans.
I had to pretend that I liked reading them because my mum said I couldn't get them just for the talisman when that was all I wanted. :joker:

Comics: Beano, Dandy, Topper (??)
Teens: My Guy, Jackie, Oh Boy (can't believe I remember the names) MAD magazines
and little 'Commando' A5 size 'war story cartoon' books that were sometimes pretty gruesome for the time!

The Simpsons comics, Futurama Comics - I had a massive collection. Horrible Histories - I had nearly every issue and I was forced to give them all to my cousin (God knows what she's done with them now :bored:).
I used to get Twinkle as a child... there was always a free gift with it!
As a young teen, I bough Smash Hits every Saturday without fail. I also remember Mizz and My Guy. Then as an older teen, I used to read Just 17 and More... oh and I forgot about Jackie.. used to get that every week too :)

They were American ones that focussed on Disney Celebrities and that.
