How many forum sites do you post on?

Ive just visited the last forum I posted at before this. A far more adult place and it was my first forum. Feels weird there now as I lost touch a year or so ago. I was there for like 2 years. I still get PMs from members there so I look in now and then without posting. I don't think you can go back to an old stomping ground once you've left which is why I understand those who don't post here anymore.

But I moved here through BB and stayed because I was more detached here emotionally and I'd gotten too involved there. It just became easier to vent here without any consequences...more liberating and nobody to impress.

Do you post, or have you posted, elsewhere and how does it compare to TiBB?

Joined my first forum in December 2004, second one in early June 2005 and TiBB in mid June 2005; the first one's dead, log into the other one literally about once a year nowadays whenever I remember it exists but the average user is about 13 years old so everyone I knew has moved off and there's no point posting there anymore, I've no interest in the subject matter of the site. I signed up to popjustice to post in a specific thread but don't post regularly on it; I'm just with TiBB!

I lurk People's Republic Of Cork, GameFaqs's message boards and Boards.ie only posting every now and then. Other than here the only other two forums I mainly post on are UKFF - a wrestling one, and the HOME forums, on a Depeche Mode fansite.

The HOME ones are the type of quiet, passive boards that have members without any real online persona and the UKFF board is a tight knit community with thousands of lurkers but only a few dozen active posters. It's like the Predator of forums. I can count on one hand the number of people who post here who would stand any chance of surviving.

Mind you I mean that in a good way. It's a very easy to follow, hillarious board as a result with top quality posters who commit downright hysterical executions of undesirables.

This place is full of wankers really. And I'm fully aware that I'm one of them. I get away with having a massive ego here that I leave at the door in other boards because I feel like a big fish due to the type of minds I'm surrounded by.

Even a lot of the top tier posters here would be pelted with rocks in the armpits of better forums. The few drama free, intelligent culprits like MTVN and Shasown are the only ones who come across as mentally balanced and in tune with the world and themselves. The rest of us are complete arseholes, let's face it.

Well with almost no news about Madonna at the moment and fans getting restless with no new music/anything at the moment (Increasing amount of bitterness) then it is worthwile taking a break. Maybe before July we will have some news :(
