-voted hiccups (especially when other people have them), sleep-jolts-things (I put the formal term in the poll, I don't know why I'm still calling them this) and other since getting something in your eye is equally annoying but not really a function-

Leg cramps. I don't know wheter it's counted as a bodily function but it happens to me more often than nose bleeds and kills.

That involuntary expulsion of a bit of wee when you cough or laugh too hard (or maybe that's just restricted to women who've had children)
Of the listed options, sneezes are the most irritating 'cause I sneeze a fair bit and it's a nuisance. I also chose Other 'cause rumbling stomach and leg cramps are just the worst things ever!

Angus! Didn't you do your pelvic floor exercises?!
Hahaha.. I have not as yet had this problem and can only put it down to a strong, well exercised pelvic floor or the fact that I have never given birth naturally :)
I HATE it when other people sniff, It REALLY IRRITATES ME! Blow your noes for god sake!
Yeah, sniffers ..... especially those who gargle with the resultant nasal extract .....
I can't STAND people who think it is acceptable to blow their nose in a restaurant! It's ****ing disgusting!

The little shiver you sometimes get when you have a piss is annoying. It's hard enough to aim as it is :bored:

Not an 'everyday' function - but I hate when you get an itch, go to scratch it - only to find that the itch isn't where it seemed to be - and you go around scratching random parts of you to find the connecting nerve - and where the real itch is!!!
That's friggin' annoying to hell !!

Hiccups, thankfully I don't get them often, usually only if I have a very hot drink but they also really irritate me when others have them too, often at Uni at a lecture when someone else has them it really irritates and distracts me, I find I concentrate on that rather than the lecture.
My amazing cure for all you hiccups sufferers:
Take a glass of water and place an ALL METAL knife in it..no plastic handles. Now rest the knife against your cheek as you take a few sips of the water.
Works every time for me :)

I have a simpler way works everytime.
Get a glass of water. Sip then count to 3. Sip again then count to 3. Do this about 6/7 times and they will be gone.

True but just drinking sips of water at three second staggered intervals works every time.

Hardly a scientific result but I tried this after reading your post with a friend at Uni who had hiccups bad, and it worked,he's amazed.
(I did concede by the way, it wasn't really my idea but that I read it from some other very clever person).

I don't think he had bulimia, I think he had anorexia. Every time he looked in the mirror he thought he was fat.
