If you watch these shows - which do you prefer and why?
I prefer TAPS (Ghost Hunters) - they seem far more grounded, more professional and far more 'brave / realistic' than Yvette's teams on Most Haunted.
I never can get my head around the team of MH screaming at the top of their voices like children, running out of rooms, some of the real OTT 'psychics' they have on, and the blonde lady historian - geeesus..... her voice goes right through you.
TAPS all the way !

Thought this would be which is the fakest.
Only seen Most Haunted... my mum and sister used to watch it and I used to sit in the huff, rolling my eyes and sighing. The while thing is just unbelievable but after seeing Derek Acorn being possessed by various spirits and then the "mary loves Dick" episode, I began to see the funny side if it. :laugh:
OMG! has anybody seen him telling somebody he has the spirit of their dead dog with him?? It's ****ing hysterical!

Most Haunted. hell.. the minute they hear a floorboard creak - it's Old Jacob from 1347 who murdered his wife!!
TAPS at least goes out with intention to debunk where poss.

I mind one show....Derek was wearing his 'white' trousers. Was walking up stairs and you could see his full 'thong' through the back of the trousers - bleurgh.

From that point of view: I have to agree, it's mental - I have to laugh every time there's a tiny speck of light or 'dust' (aka Orbs!) on the camera - they all nearly have a seizure.
The second they actually think there is someone there who 'spooks' them...they're away running and screaming.

It's so obvious that the latest shows now are nothing but them copying Ghost Hunters, with their sudden development of 'crew rooms / setting up cameras and teams sitting in the hub' etc.
Half the time they keep going on about "sssh.... shsshhh, be quiet *******,, *screams*, sh** what's that.. ssssh", that you can't hear a bliddy thing other than them all screaming and telling each other to shut up.
It's a riot - if anyone takes it seriously, they've got to be off their rockers!
