I'm moping around depressed :bawling:
I hate the 1st post BB week, next week should be better and the week after I hope to have fully recovered from my cold turkey and start getting back to normal. It is weird having no evictions to look forward to but when BB isnt on telly it does make you think how crap TV is without it.I mean, for the first time in 9weeks I looked at the TV guide the other day(knowing I cant watch BB all night)and it really makes me wonder what I watched before the show started cos all the programmes seem really rubbish
Oh well footie season is nearly upon us,and I'm sure the new popstars/pop idol will keep us amused until the big day approaches next year when we dedicate 9weeks of our lives to BB4
I will be watching nothing :bawling: I have to say that it feels like it's been weeks since we last saw BB :bawling: :bawling: :bawling:

Oh for 52 weeks of BB :bawling: :bawling: :bawling:
To have to make do with "soaps" when we could be having the really thing. Come on o2 or maybe Coca Cola could take it on. It is The Real Thing!! :colour: :colour:

I'll be hibernating for ten months in my bed of straw. The odd repeat here and there might entice me out for a belly tickle..

This should cheer you up
43weeks left till BB4(sounds better than 10months)
Plus videos come out next month and they'll keep us busy(along with numerous OK mag interviews and features on the HM's)until November when we have Celeb BB
Then Xmas they show(well they did last year)repeats of BB,then by this time we'll know what the HM's are up to career wise so we'll be able to buy Jade's exercise video,Alex's brylcreem poster, condoms with PJ's head on and also tune in to Kate's TV show :hello: :hello:
So that leaves us with about february-April relatively BB free :bawling: BUT end of April we'll be treated to about 3-4 weeks of "how not to get on BB" on E4 so we can watch that endlessly and see if any people on there actually make it on

43 weeks!! I only have ten digits between two hands. So a count of ten is my limit after a glass of cider.  So are you telling me I have wasted good money on straw..

LOL@bananarama....The weeks will fly by *gulp* I promise  In the next few weeks the press will use so many pages on our HM's that forests upon forests will be chopped down
We have videos and...er..repeats..er..more newspapers..and..er..how not to get on BB to look forward
*Katerules now gives up on trying to convince herself that BB4 is just around the corner and instead she goes and sits in a darkened room rocking back and forth*
43 weeks....... or 300 days!!!!
The countdown is on!!

Look, C4, we're desperate here! Just get Avid Merrion in a Davina mask and a camera over to the BB house and evict a chicken, or maybe a turnip, something, ANYTHING!!!

Maybe sky could come up with a bb channel, with all the worlds bbs with sub titles. Just think you could even get into the foreign ones, it would be interesting to see how people in other parts of the world coped with the bb experience.
:spin:
Great idea Steve a bb channel and they could replay past bb's

A bb channel would be great...at the minute though I'd be happy just to watch chicken cam and see how coal-boy,betty and scabby are(bet they are all dead now :bawling: ) Wonder what Avid Merrion does for most of the year when BB aint on?Bet he tours the country opening supermarkets and stuff

I think it would be a channel that people would watch as well. It would be better than these cooking channels and some of the other rubbish that's on. If it was done properly with say re-runs and other world bbs it could be quiet good I reckon. :dazzler: :dazzler: :dazzler: :dazzler:

It's a great idea actually, they could also do little documentaries on what ex HM's have done since BB,they could have 15mins counselling slots with Mr Miyagi to help those with cold turkey...and on the live feeds on interactive they could put chicken cam on :hello:
I think the idea of a BB channel is brilliant and would definintely be more entertaining viewing than most of the rubbish shown on Digital TV at the mo.

Avid is really comedian Leigh Francis. He is starting his own show on E4 in the Autumn called 'Bo Selecta'.

Maybe they could have some ex housmates presenting it as well. That would be good, and guest appearances. Just think if you could see your fav housemates on a regular basis. Even Avid Merrion could make an appearance.

It sounds great...I think it could become a reality in a few years time cos I know I'd tune in if I was short of something to watch and endemol would rake even more cash in..I could see it happening :hello:

A BB channel sounds great to me - I'll be one of the first to sign up although I am not sure what Mr BB (thats busy bee to you) would have to say about it. He is still celebrating the end of this year's action. (Not a BB fan I'm afraid although I did catch him watching a few times and he certainly knows who everyone is) Still we've got the Celebrity BB to look forward to soon.

Steve - a BB channel is a fantastic idea!
Quick - you must patent the idea immediately, then pass it on to Sky as soon as possible! Oh ....... and remember to point out that it should be included within the existing price per month - not an optional extra like Film 4!!!
P.S. Have a great holiday, mcginn! :hello:  :hello:

I love the idea of a BB channel too, Steve.
Once they've shown all the BB programmes from around the world, they could just start again. It could run forever.
I'd never watch anything else. :hello:

Ok it's now patented, I'm going to e-mail sky with the idea and see what they think.

Hi,
Every Friday for the last 9 weeks I have looked forward to the evictions to know that there will not be no eviction night makes me abit sad and also on a Saturday night when they did there weekly task I miss that I am very depressed when I think like that but only 10 months to go until the next BB.

Well Sky don't seem to give a stuff about a bb channel, they wrote back saying get in touch with channel 4, saying they'd enclosed a number at the bottom of the letter which they had not. So it's looks like we'll have to make do with rubbish like the avago channel and all the other numerous crap they put on. They'd probably want to charge 5 quid a month for it anyway. If a bb channel does appear in the next few weeks you'll know the idea came from me here first anyway. :conf:

What a shame!!!!!!
It's a fabulous idea and i can't understand why Sky wouldn't jump at the chance! Can you imagine the ratings if they showed E4 style coverage of all the BB'2 around the world?
Maybe Sky aren't allowed to show it, could be some legal thing about C4 having all the rights. We might still get a C4 based channel showing it all though.
Steve, maybe you should try and contact C4 with your ideas. They are so into money making with BB they may well agree with you!

"A New Format for Big Brother. by Splodge.
OK then. BB3 has finished. Yes, I am in official mourning, as predicted. And yes, they did c-ock it up this year Big Time.
BB1 was the first to make me wish for more. BB2 made me wonder why. Why? Yes. Why is it only on for 64 days in a year! One thing we all agree on is we love the format. Though BB3 clearly lost its way, and made us all very frustrated.
So here is my idea. Please treat it gently. Its an only child.
Since we (mostly) watch at least one or more "soaps" which run for 52 weeks in a year, why not Big Brother.
Bare with me.....................!!!! LOL
Firstly, all the other BB's run longer than ours, and secondly, we all, I reckon, prefer BB to most, if not all, soaps.
So, suppose we extended BB4 to run for say 3 months. About the same as some other countries? Yes? Ok then.
If we started with 14 HM's and evicted as normal, job done.
With me so far?
Now here's the clever bit. We add a Housemate every fortnight and evict every fornight. The additions dovetailing with evictions, so that we have a weekly either Friday or Saturday night show.
Now extend to a rolling 52 weeks in a year.
A little fine tuning is required, as
a.) the tasks need to be on-going and properly thought out to take account of the seasons,
b.) when a couple wish to leave together (ala P and H) two replacements are introduced, and
c.) if one person becomes too popular, they have to retire ( be "killed off") as a champion. This would be after, say, 64 days, with a cash prize of, say, £70,000!
Job done!

ps. I truly believe this would work, but I have no faith in the Media picking the idea up, do you? Duh!!!!!
pps. NO BBDS either!!!!
