In the internet age, irony age he has become a great personality though. I will go and see a Keanu Reeves movie and enjoy him in it even though he can't act ... if that makes any sense.

I don't think he's a great 'actor' compared to the likes of De Niro, Pacino or Malkovich but there's something about him thats very watchable and the Matrix movies, Point Break and Speed have proved that he's quite bankable as an actor. Iv'e equally seen him in dreadful movies like Lakehouse and another romantic movie I can't remember the name of (it was so forgettable), so I don't think the romantic leading man is his strong point. He's made some good role choices though and thats made his career - so good on him. Arnie, Stallone and Bruce Willis are not that great actors either imo but they're very watchable in the roles they take on.

He's not a great actor by any stretch of the imagination but as Rhino said, there is something very likeable/watchable about him.

It helps that half of his films involve him playing a robot, or someone unable to portray emotion. The Day The Earth Stood Still is a good example, but Speed is still one of my favourite action thrillers. Sandra Bullock :love:
