Do You Search For Your Name?

On here? How often (if ever) do you search for your name to see if anyones mentioned you?

I've noticed many people seem to 'appear' in threads if/when their name is mentioned. I can only assume they use the search facility (or read every single thread). Nothing wrong with that obviously, I'm just a nosey toad.

I've done it before but only really if I've been offline for a few days and am trying to catch up with the gossi..... the latest... (never works - I just lose track)

Oh, not sure. Theres a "Go advanced" feature thing. Not tried that one

No, I only search for other members when I want to understand something that happened before I became a member.

Oh and no, I don't think so. If you click show posts (I think it is) it won't show YOUR posts. Just if your name was mentioned.

From what I can gather it'll show anything you have posted but also anything that's been posted about you (well, mentioned your username) so if you haven't been spoken about, you'll just get your latest posts :) Upto you if you want to scroll through pages to see if you've had a mention!
