Who do we think Susan clashes with? We know her and Zoe don't see eye to eye but could it be Melody this time? They clashed in task 1 but did get on better regardless and don't seem to have a big problem with one another.

I don't think it was Susan who clashed. Watching the trailer for next week it looked like Melody and Zoe were fighting and that Susan was just saying that one of those two was the bitchiest person they have met (my guess would be she was saying that about Melody).

Trouble is, if she pushes too far in making people not like her she won't last. She needs to tone it down a notch. It's no use burning bridges with people you may have to work with again or need to rely upon, especially if she does make it to the final.

I never said aggressive, but she needs to be able to get along with people. Being ruthless is one thing, but if you cannot work alongside your peers without too much friction then you don't get far.


She needs to take a leaf out of Helen's book and become more subtle whilst still being professional.

Well from the preview it looks like Melody and Tom are working in a sub-team next week and seem to work well together, so all must be all forgiven.

Helen is too boring and bland for my liking, however she did impress me last night.

Melody might be the total opposite in real life? This process is really complicated and I think even people I dislike on the show e.g. Susan aren't really like that in the real world.

We don't really know the contestants and can only make our mind up through edited footage and plus we don't see everything that goes on.

That's the trouble. They show contestants in a certain way to make us hate/like certain people and of course they only show us about 3 minutes of 24 - 72 hour task.


Don't get me wrong, I like Melody, but I think she needs to tone down her ruthlessness, it's starting to come across as desperation.

I agree she needs to tone it down, people like Ruth, Claire and Joanna did and look where it got them in the end:).

It's not Big Brother where you have to be likeable but as long as you can prove that you are good in business and willing to learn from the mistakes or improve.

You still need to get along with your work peers though (don't have to like them), you may need their help at some point in the future.

But yeah, she does remind me of Joanna, but Joanna seemed to learn to tone herself down very quickly, whereas Melody seems to be getting worse. :sad:

Breakdown for the task next week..

The candidates are enjoying their day off when Lord Sugar turns up at the door. Suddenly it's down to work after he tells them to make, brand and pitch a new type of upmarket biscuit. Project managers get picked (in one case reluctantly) and then it's time for the teams to split up, with half off to a biscuit development lab in Swansea.

The teams have two days to get the baking done and packaging designed. In Wales there are sharp elbows in evidence in one team as two of the candidates vie to get their idea made, whilst the other team goes straight for an after-school treat.

The ultra-competitive team's focus group munches its way through lots of crunchy offers without a favourite emerging. No-one likes ideas suggested by fellow team members and in the end the decision is a compromise. On the other team, the branding for kids ends up losing precision and no-one can understand its selling point.

Hard work in the development lab produces professional looking biscuits. Packaging is equally impressive but the names and invented straplines make for confusing pitch rehearsals and plenty of backstabbing.

At the pitches one team tries to create a mini-drama, changing the script twice and still failing to communicate the idea. In the end both teams stumble through pitches that are as crumbly as their biscuits. The hard-nosed buyers from some of Britain's biggest supermarkets appear not to bite. They report back to Lord Sugar who reveals the outcome in the boardroom - the result is a shock to Lord Sugar and to both teams.

On the losing team the culprit is uncovered. After some spirited defence and a few regrets it's a close call...then - 'You're fired!'.

He asked PM of both teams to bring back 2 other people, meaning 6 people were in the Boardroom, however the one PM was so nice about her team, he didnt fire anyone from that team, and fired the other PM becuase she was a bitch and blamed her team

Could be but Nick seems to have a soft spot for her so could fight her corner to LS:p. In a way if Susan was to be fired or not win it might be the best thing to have happened to her as some candidates have proved:).
